This spot is such a gem! Staff is always so friendly and they go above and beyond in service. Notably, Fernando and Nathaniel have consistently provided excellent service! The food is delicious, the happy hour specials are top tier, and the menu is fun with unique offerings. Pictured is my latest visit with their “girl dinner”. On my latest trip, I was chilly and they even had the softest coziest blanket for me! Seriously, I can’t say enough good things about The Attic!

Server Nicole was great! Food was delicious. We had a great time with our friends from Canada
Very baby-unfriendly. No other place treated us like that because we had a baby. We had a stroller and they said they had only one table outside that may fit the stroller, but that was not the case. Many people behind us got a table but they had us waiting for that one table which never became available. They finally seated us on a table that was free for a while and had claimed the stroller would not fit, but it did. Handling someone with a stroller was such an inconvenience to them. Will never go there again.
The food here was decent, though nothing particularly memorable. The standout for me was the cornbread—warm, moist, and just sweet enough to keep you reaching for more. The Mac and Cheetos was certainly creative and had a satisfying flavor, but it leaned on the heavier side, making it difficult to enjoy more than a few bites. Where the experience really fell short was in the service and the outdoor dining environment. Service moved at a noticeably slow pace, which stretched the meal longer than expected. More distracting, though, was the constant presence of flies. It's hard to relax and enjoy your food when you're repeatedly fending off insects. I'd strongly encourage the restaurant to address this issue, as it significantly detracts from the overall experience. In short: a few menu highlights, but the dining conditions and service need attention before I'd consider returning.
The service and vibe was lovely. A very friendly place and warm welcome. Attentive without being overly attentive.
Unfortunately my expectations on food based on excellent reviews did not come true. The mac and cheese has a wonderful presentation, but was salty. The best part of the biscuit was home made jam. The grilled sea bream was tasty and went well with the sides, but for the price of 30 USD I did not expect such a tiny portion. I will be back for the excellent service and lovely vibe, not so much for the food.

What a fantastic find! The Attic on Broadway is a true gem, serving up incredible scratch-made food in a charming bungalow setting. We found easy parking right behind the restaurant, which was a great start. We were seated immediately and chose the lovely outdoor patio under a cool adjustable pergola.
Our server, Riley, was an absolute delight. She was friendly, knowledgeable, and gave us some excellent recommendations. We were shocked to find out she was in training because her service was flawless—attentive, prompt, and professional. Major props to the management for having another staff member check in on her performance; it shows they really care about the customer experience.
Now for the food and drinks—wow! I highly recommend the Botanical Bloom cocktail; it was a refreshing and unique gin drink. My colleagues loved their margarita and ginger beer drink as well. We started with the honey cornbread, and it was out of this world! It's a must-order. For our main courses, we had the Vegetarian Chili, the signature burger, and the grilled sea bream. Every single dish was cooked to perfection and packed with flavor.
We were too full for dessert, but the menu looked just as tempting. From the unique ambiance to the top-notch service and absolutely delicious food, The Attic delivered a five-star experience. We will definitely be back!

Great spot for a weekend brunch. The cheetos mac-and-cheese was amazing get it with the short rib! The restaurant made pasta was very good. My wife and I had split the Benedict with the Grit cake was a really interesting idea and we really liked the shrimp, the pork was a little all over the place taste wise. French toast was huge! We took over half of it.
Service was on point. Recommendations were good.
Flies. There were lots of flies. They have little fans but you have to ask for them.
Overall we loved this place and my wife looks forward to having brunch with her friends soon.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
The Attic is phenomenal! The food is bursting with flavor and truly memorable. The gumbo is absolutely five-star, perfectly seasoned and comforting. The AC/DC cocktail was spot on, and the banana pudding dessert was the perfect sweet finish. Everything exceeded expectations. I’ll 100% be returning!

This is our 4th time coming to the Attic and it did not disappoint. Our server Payton was the bomb. She was helpful and the food was phenomenal. The menu changes so come back often. Get the fries and order yourself a Hanks orange cream soda. Thank me later.

YIKES! We tried this as part of the Long Beach Food Scene Week offering and all I can say is yikes! I ordered the steak frites with the plum salad and pimento toast. My friend ordered the steak frites with red oak salad and albacore crudo.
They subbed salmon for the albacore, and when it arrived, the salmon was room temp, which is a lot of degrees too warm for us to eat raw fish. Flavors were great for the bite that we had though. Salads were *really* overdressed - I had to wipe oil off my lips after each bite. Otherwise, again, flavors were good. The steaks were a disaster though: Both were absolutely raw on the inside (cool dark red center), despite being ordered med rare and med well. The fries looked crisp and delicious, but were soggy and tasted slightly burnt. The demiglace/peppercorn sauce was SO salty it was unpleasant to eat. Lastly, I ordered a gin cocktail with berries and botanticals - it was a glass of gin with club soda and a garnish of a quarter of a strawberry and some herbs. All this, AND there was an upcharge for the steak option.
Pair all that with the understaffed servers (our waiter was working *hard*) food coming out willy nilly, (my food kept arriving first while my friend waited, the fries came about 5 mins after the steaks dropped) and we had just a terrible experience. Definitely won't be back. :( (The atmosphere sitting outside on a summer evening was very nice though!)

Vibes were amazing at “The Attic”, but food alright. Biscuit was stale, and the gumbo needed more umph. Server was nice, but there was a lot of confusion when trying to be seated and lots of idle time trying to close out. Solid, but not what we were hoping for.

We were visiting from North California and stopped by for early brunch before we set off for the day. The service was prompt and welcoming and the food choices were eclectic. I really enjoyed the flavors of my hot Korean rice bowl ( bibimbap like) - a generous portion and every one at table tried it and liked it. My husband found his gumbo flavorful but the okra stringy. My mom tried the French toast which was also a generous portion and a bit too sweet - better as a sharing dish. My father enjoyed the country breakfast. We would recommend stopping by for sure if you are exploring the area, we sat outdoors and enjoyed the ambience as well. Would be great place to go out for drinks and shareable platters with friends.
