I’ve had several disheartening experiences at this bar, and unfortunately, this wasn’t the first time the bartender was rude. During my last visit, she snatched the money out of my hands and handed me a warm bottle of Modelo for $9. If they want to thrive, they really need to improve their customer service.

A cool place to grab a drink and maybe dance a little.

Came to this bar as a visitor from another state who previously lived in Southern California. The bartender at night on Mondays was very rude and passive aggressive towards me making snide comments about my lighter skin tone (light skinned latino) and how I should be in Weho and not in Long Beach.
Drunk and high customer came in and screamed in my face and harrassed the bartender.
I've been to gay bars all over the US and in Latin America and never experienced anything like this before. Terrible experience

It was amazing to do my first debute in Stand Up Comedy that the Brit has every Wednesday evenings and thanks for Honors!
Before that I had an excellent chicken burger with fries! Delicious!
Many of the comedians comes to practice and hone their skills in Stand Up Comedy, just like Jerry Seinfeld did before his break through airing his own comedy series Seinfeld which had a great mix of characters and amazing storylines in each of the episodes.
The Brit had also Podcasters honing their skills on stage.
My talent scout took me to show my abilities on stage in stand up comedy and it was so much fun!
As a woman I hear many things and seen many things and experienced many things so it was easy to pick some of the experiences and create comedy out of them without undermining my talent.
As an actress it is indeed important to be able to make fun of my life experiences in kind and compassionate ways.
As a sober homeless it is easy to make fun of the unawareness of many people.
You see, many of the people on the streets are the ones who never made it due to drugs and the other half is the sober people who are practicing and honing their skills to become better like I am.
You see rents are so high that it would drain the energy away from practicing my abilities and talents to even have to work eight hours or more in a day, just to sleep few hours in an overly expensive apartment and topping that with practice, there would not be enough hours in a day to cover all that.
It will be amazing to have my second stand up comedy set on the stage soon!
With Love,
Joanna Vii

Visited at 3pm on a Friday and it was dead, but that should be expected at bars in Long Beach as most people start going out around 8pm. So be wary when to go as the bartended said it’s like this all weekend, too.
The bartender was super nice, as she served me drinks and recommended restaurants for dinner.
It is a large space for dancing and hanging. Also, it is cash only!!

Heads up, a guy PULLED A KNIFE on my friend at the open mic. Come to find out from a bar regular that this guy is an ex-marine with PTSD who apparently has done this "10-12" times before at bars on Broadway. Hispanic maybe Asian heavy set male with glasses, dark hair about 6'1 220 lbs. Cops have been notified. Incredibly hostile bar if you don't fit the mold of the people in there. Surprisingly unwelcoming for Long Beach. Service is rude and expensive for a cash only bar. Never setting foot in there again, beware.

Quick and strong drinks. There's almost always a place to sit on the patio when I'm there. They'd get five stars from me if the music volume was ever set below 11.

Don’t bother visiting if you meet any of these conditions:
1) you are a woman (lesbian even worse)
2) you are not from Long Beach (travelers from other states especially steer clear)
3) you have class
Rude bartenders (queens with attitudes) - overpriced majorly sub par drinks- and cash only (extra sketch-)
Unless you live within a few blocks of here- and have no other options, skip this one
Accidentally stepped into the Twilight Zone.

They have not updated their hours
This bar is so much fun. They do not serve food. However, the drinks are outstanding, and the service is impeccable and super fun
