I was just craving a good cup of coffee before jumping on the interstate and decided to pop into this little spot—exactly the right call. From the moment I walked in, the staff was super polite and got me taken care of fast.
As a “straight-up drip, black, no frills” coffee drinker, I can say this place didn’t miss. The brew was hot, strong, and exactly what I needed to wake up and smack a little pep into my step. Before you could say “coffee to go,” I was out the door, copilot-killer energized and ready to willfully fight the afternoon traffic.
Quick, courteous, and caffeinated—if you're passing through and need a quality jump-start, this place has your back. Or your mug, rather.

Summary: 🌶️ Aromatic seduction meets productivity heaven. 🌶️
I came to The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf in Long Beach expecting a quick caffeine fix. I left spiritually rearranged.
The hot chai latte with oat milk? My God. This wasn’t a drink — it was foreplay. The steam alone smelled like cinnamon had just whispered a secret into my soul. Velvety, spiced silk slid down my throat with just the right amount of heat. The oat milk didn’t just blend — it cradled the spices, turning every sip into an intimate, almost inappropriate encounter with autumn. I blushed.
Then came the toasted turkey pesto sandwich. Crispy on the outside, warm and tender on the inside — just like the kind of emotional support we all deserve. The melted cheese stretched in slow, sensual strands, refusing to let go. The turkey? Moist (don’t make that face, you know the word fits), savory, and embraced by a rich, garlicky pesto that tasted like someone’s Nonna poured love into a blender.
I was supposed to work, but the food romance distracted me for a solid twenty minutes. When I finally opened my laptop, the gentle hum of background conversation, espresso machines hissing like seductive serpents, and Top 40 songs serenading overhead created the perfect ambient foreplay for focus.
Bottom line: if you’re trying to write your novel, finish that spreadsheet, or just have a deeply emotional affair with a sandwich — this is your place.

Hardly any brown Sugar, not enough wip cream and to much ice to much money !!!
I do like that place
Wow the most blood curdling music was blasting on the speakers it was like wicked musicals and hearing someone belt high notes while trying to work is insane. Heeey change it to something neutral we’re not all trying to relive failed dreams of being in a musical because you had a dad who was overly strict and didn’t let you as a child float around the living room with this type of music blasting he had a point to tell you no and now I’m saying hey noooo
Baristas are kind here! ❤️

The employee order my food was unpleasant. He got my order wrong he was to busy running off for his break. I had to redo my drink. The other employee was very nice to make for me. That young men act if he is better then me.
This coffee bean is location is by far my favorite. The employees always say welcome/ good morning and greet you with a smile. They always thank you for your business and cant wait for you to come back. They're very polite and give outstanding customer service. This is how a business should be. If you haven't been to the location at 1996 Ximeno Ave in Long Beach........ Get there
Clean, friendly staff, plenty of parking in main parking lot shared by many other businesses.
