SHOCKINGLY SURPRISED!!! As a CBTL frequenter for over 30 years this location was the worst CBTL experience I've ever had!
I'm usually a drive-thru customer at this location, though I've walked in a few times and had equally great service.
This morning however, the drive-thru was backed up with at least 10 cars so I decided to walk-in since my order was a simple wellness blend tea.
Upon walking in, I stood at the front for two minutes before someone came to take my order. No welcome. No someone will be with you. No acknowledgement whatsoever other than a glance from one young man making coffee.
The young lady, Erin, that finally came to take my order was friendly and welcoming. After placing my order she proceeded to take the orders of the other 3 customers behind me but instead of making my hot tea which is customary at every other CBTL I've frequented, she went to help the other 5 people servicing the drive-thru.
After waiting 5 minutes for my hot tea I inquired about the wait and was rudely told by the young man and another young lady that orders are prepared in the order received.
I informed them that they had 6 people working drive-thru, noone working the front and I had never experienced having to wait for drive-thru for a simple order like hot tea when that could have been made immediately upon taking my order by dropping a tea bag in a hot cup of water.
Further, with the drive-thru being backed up due to mechanical issues, walk in customers help take some of the burden off the drive-thru and help get customers in and out in a timely manner.
Instead, it was confusion with employees mixing up drive-thru orders, as stated by one, and the walk-ins going ignored.
I don't know who the manager is but some training in customer service, hospitality and problem solving would go a long way!

While the cashier guy was nice, I didn't appreciate one girl that works there. I had asked for napkins and she didn't give me none, luckily another girl did do her job and was nice enough to do so. Not so much for the first girl I had asked. Unfortunately I didn't see any of thier names. But shame on that first girl

I was a EVGO customer today and all of the booths were busy except for one
I went inside the coffee bean very respectfully asked whoās car is in the EV parking spot who doesnāt even drive an EV
The manager on shift Brittney responded very rude and nasty
I waited for 20 minutes in the store for her to just move her car there where plenty of other spots to park
I was then talked back too by Celine and the other female employee on shift
Brittney had no problem yelling at me saying she is a manager and a supervisor
Needless to say all this was definitely preventable I actually It took more time to answer back with an attitude and be nasty than it would to move parking spots Iāll be contacting the GM in the morning

I love that they sell the powder used for their drinks so I can have the opportunity to make it at home. I add the mocha powder to my coffee and it tastes so much better.
I do the drive through... People are friendly i get thd iced chai extra sweet latte.. always a good choice and its always tasty

THIS COMPANY HAS NO LIVE PERSON AGENTS, YOU ALSO CANT LEAVE A COMPLAINT AS THERE SYSTEM DOESNāT WORK! Very disappointed in my visit to the specific location. I had a coupon to be used on Thursdays for a $4 mocha/vanilla ice blended drink. After ordering I asked if they could hold the coffee extract as it makes me stay awake all night. At the register I was told I couldnāt use the coupon because the drink couldnāt be wrung up. I didnāt understand as the coupon was for the mocha/vanilla ice blended drink. I was then told that because I wanted the coffee removed it would change the drink it a pure something(who knows) and that the coupon couldnāt be used for that. I didnāt ask them to add anything else; simply didnāt want the coffee extract. Why they would need to input a different drink into the register because it didnāt have coffee is beyond me. I asked to speak with a manager as it just didnāt make sense to me. My asking to remove the coffee extract my thought was made the drink less expensive for the company. I brought this to the managers attention and she stated the corporation makes them change how the drink wrung into the computer. It was hot and I truly didnāt want to let this vex my spirit so I said ok; I will simply take my business to Starbucks where they have no problem with just simply removing the coffee and still using the coupon. On Friday morning I called to 3 different locations in Long Beach and was told this location was simply making it hard on me; that my request to remove the coffee extract absolutely was cheaper for the store and that if I wanted to use the coupon again on a Thursday they would be happy to make it for me. Itās a shame I went out of my way to visit because I have loved the coffee bean and tea leaf for decades and this store was the closest to me at the time. This visit left a very bad taste in my mouth and I most likely will never come again to this location ever. Honestly being told this is how their corporate office operates Iām not sure I would bother with any of them again. Not a huge fan of Starbucks but can say at least they try to be helpful to the customer. Very disappointed!
