Late to seat. Very crowded. Bacon on the bacon wrapped dates were very undercooked. Very loud. Normally a very positive experience but I would avoid on Saturday, Sunday. They do not manage the experience well at those times.
The servers were very friendly and very polite. I cannot say enough good things about the servers. The food was just delicious. Good size portions. We got our orders very quickly. A lot of fun. The only drawback would be the noise level. Pretty loud but fun place
This is a neighborhood hidden gem. Love the food and love the service. They always make you feel welcomed and its great that they have a patio where I can bring my two dogs to have dinner with us!
Came to watch game 3 of the World Series with my grandkids. Leave it to Freddie to save the day for the Dodgers. Great ambiance and good food.
Booked way in advance using OpenTable requested a booth. We're both large people and the small tables for two. They are not comfortable as we've been there many times upon arrival they gave us a small little two person table and told us that any request on OpenTable were not being honored because of the baseball game. The only issue I had with that comment was that the restaurant was virtually empty and the bar was 99% full. There was plenty of booths open at 5 PM and they could've easily given us the table that we requested so sorry to have to post this review as I've been there many times and this is the very first time I've ever been disappointed with the service or anybody working there one note there was three girls working the reception booth for some reason because the booth only fits one person they sat there giggling all night, long while we were sandwiched in our little booth.
The food here never disappoints. It's the only request that my sister and brother in law have when they come to visit. Dinner at The Eldo. Lots of unique items as well as familiar favorites on the menu. Great mixed drinks. All of this served by a knowledgeable and friendly staff. It's no wonder the parking lot fills up right at 4pm when they open. Great outdoor patio to watch a game on the TV with some great nachos and one of their many craft beers. A true gem in Long Beach.
My husband and I love this place! Everything we have tried so far has been delicious, especially the beef wellington! We want to try pretty much everything on the menu, which will take awhile, because it's big. So we'll be back many times in the future!

My filet was to die for. I had it with the peppercorn mushroom sauce. Honestly perfection and good price for what I got. Need to go back real soon.
Everyone loved their meal! The only down side was, if you order the yummy wedge salad, ask for it on the side. It was a bit too heavy. But GREAT tasting dressing. I sister took her salad home just to have the dressing leftovers!
Steak was way over peppered. It overpowered the taste of the steak. Way too expensive for a small filet. Portions of potatoes n gravy really small. Vegetables not seasoned n cold. Very disappointed. Hadn't been there in a couple years. Don't know if we will return.

Always a pleasure dining at The Eldo! The food is consistently delicious and full of flavor — definitely one of our go-to restaurants. Whether it's a date night, family dinner, or a special occasion, the atmosphere is always just right. The staff is friendly, attentive, and truly make you feel welcome every time. Highly recommend!
Best Ribeye in Long Beach! The Wellington gives Gordon Ramsey's a run for their money too!
Great family restaurant with good food, large beer selection, and plenty of tv s with sports.

Took the family here on an off-night during our Disneyland vacation, and it was just the vibe shift we needed - relaxed and roomy with an awesome patio dining area. Its technically Long Beach, but its basically a straight shot down Katella from the park hotels. Great food, massive portions for a reasonable price, excellent cocktails and draft list. The kids loved the ice cream scoop that was included with their kids meal from the attached ice cream parlor. The ice cream looked great but I was too stuffed from my Gatsby sandwich (a proper STEAK sandwich) to try any. 😅

Good meatloaf, gravy balances the tomato sauce on the meatloaf and potatoes smooth and buttery.
Scoop Ice-cream right next door and part of the restaurant has great take out desserts especially the cookies!!!
