Just when my party of 4 (plus 2 pups) couldn't have another bite after stuffing our faces from the Yardhouse nearby, we got enticed by the idea of having a funnel cake... topped with fruit... and whipped cream... and since they had horchata, I had to have that, too. There was no line, so I was served almost immediately. I was given a choice of 2 kinds off fruit for toppings (went for banana and strawberry) and was handed my goodies rather quickly. We all shared the plate, and we all enjoyed it. It was almost nostalgic - I haven't had a funnel cake in probably over a decade. Sure brought back a lot of memories! FOOD: 5. It tasted exactly as I last remembered having it from who knows where. SERVICE: 3. Not a lot of interaction, but they were pretty fast. VALUE: 3. Average at best. PARKING: Private lot located in the shoreline village, so there is a fee. OVERALL: 3.5. They have other sweets to offer: ice cream, ice cream sandwich, churros, if funnel cakes are not your thing. But this is the place to cleanse your palate after a huge meal, or if only as a treat, for both small and big kids! So drop by and give 'em a try!

I'm not a churro specialist or anything but I've never tried a churro in 4 years of being in LA that was this flavorful and fresh. Puts Disney's dry churros to shame.

Was informed they sold coffee drinks here from a different store's clerk on 'The Boardwalk.' The Funnel House provided a Yelp check in discount coupon for $2 off, but I'll hold off using that coupon. Once again, I arrived early for this spur-of-the-moment local trip out to Shoreline Village, Long Beach, CA. I ordered a medium sized house coffee to go. They were generous with their creamer condiments. Service was fast and efficient. I'll be back next trip out.

Great food, even better people. Was starving after a festival and looked into the window at the kitchen where friends and I saw an untouched but finished funnel cake. After gesturally begging for it the worker boxed it and brought it out for free. Made my year.

This place had a line and came back 10min later and no line so we came in to get a churro or whatever. This churro was literally 80% Grease and 20% Batter cause this drenched the paper bag in grease. Not even the lady on my block selling for $2 a churro is this greasy. And the churros here are $7 with some change, definitely not worth it, tbh would just look for the street churros and save the diabetes lol.

Excellent funnel cake, quickly prepared, fresh and tasty. Even though there were a lot of people, we quickly got our turn. You can sit in the area and enjoy the nice views of the surrounding marina and enjoy a funnel cake.

highly recommend going here for dessert. One of the best funnel cake places! It's so delicious and freshly made!! Two big scoops of ice cream and strawberry topping was such a great addition to it. MUST get when you are at near this area
I had the church with condensed milk (awesome dipping choice) and my boyfriend had the funnel cake with strawberry banana topping. Both were delicious! The churro was slightly over cooked but I love crispy so it was perfect for me. It wasn't hard crispy it just had a good crunch I highly enjoyed it. The funnel cake was cooked perfectly and when I was finally allowed a bite it was scrumptious. The girl at the counter either was having a bad day or just didn't care. She was nice enough but she was very to the point get in get out. And the place was a little shabby with nowhere to sit inside but the benches outside are perfect! I would definitely visit again. ?
