Smash burger literally just tastes like a McDonald’s cheese burger, 2nd time getting food at the kroft and I leave disappointed again.

Ordered through a popular app for the convenience after a long day and had some issues placing my order. However, I called the restaurant and they were a big help. Garret, Eric and the Manager (maybe Eric?) were able to assist me with my issue.
First time ordering and the food was great. The smash burgers were amazing, the chicken parm sandwich was a pleasant surprise for me since chicken sandwiches are not usually my first pick, and the chicken nuggets were gone almost immediately.
For me the best part of the experience next to the food was the customer service from everyone at the restaurant. Will order again soon!

Loved the burgers. I felt they were good for the price and they were delicious. The loaded fries with the burger patty really hit the spot! The service was nice and the wait wasn’t long even if they had tons of orders! I totally recommend getting a burger here if you are hanging out

This location of the Croft is at the LBX. If you haven’t been there already, it’s basically a large food court with lots of seating. The atmosphere is nice for a food court, but let’s get into the food.
I got a kroft chicken sandwich that was supposedly spicy because it had jalapeños in the slaw ( I had the option to make it more spicy for an extra dollar or two). I thought the sandwich came with fries, it did not. Fries were around $4.60 and they were not worth it. The fries were soggy and dry, it felt like they had been sitting around for a few hours. The sandwich was delicious, but not spicy at all.
I definitely felt like I was being nickeled and dimed because they did not have basic ketchup or any sauces to offer with my fries, and they wanted me to pay extra for my “spicy sandwich”, which should have been spicy in the first place.
For a small cup of sauce, it was $.35. Which is fine for speciality sauces, but I just wanted ketchup. they didn’t even have basic ketchup to offer, like any other restaurant/burger place.
So I’m taking away two stars because this place is known for poutine, which is basically fries and gravy and their fries sucked. And because I felt that I was being nickeled and dimed, even though the cost of the items on their menu was already expensive compared to other burger spots in the same food court.

I love the food from here, I’ve only ever had delivery. The sandwiches, Putin, fried curds… all delicious every time.
The braised beef poutine was goOoOod! I’ve had poutine in Calgary and I liked this better hehe. It didn’t give me a stomach ache. I wish I could share a photo, but we devoured it! The meat was perfect, so soft and flavorful. It complimented the pickled onions so well. I’d recommend getting the gravy on the side so you can decide how much you want.
Waited over 30 mins for my food here today. 2 employees in the kitchen working as slow as they could.

I had high hopes. The burger is what is shows in the pictures. Patty is not nicely sizzled like I've seen in other pics.its like the meat got boiled instead of pan broiled. The flavor is not there. All I taste is bread, literally. There's tons of better options at this location. Try any other restaurants and if you really want a burger, go to the habit or anywhere else, literally.
