I swear this place is an absolute must-go! The food is incredible, the atmosphere is clean and stylish, and the service is top-notch. All of our plates came out fresh and full of flavor, and the staff made the experience feel personal and welcoming. Whether you’re grabbing drinks or sitting down for a full meal, this place delivers every time. Highly recommend!

This is what the world needs more of. Exceptional fare at great prices. Unusual and fun menu expertly executed. Wonderful staff. A refreshing oasis in a surrounding sea of mediocrity. Love this place.

Very disappointed in this place. 7 of us…mandatory 22% tip on the bill. It has become somewhat common for restaurants to add automatic tip for parties of 6 or more, but usually 15%, and we gladly tip 20 or 25% for good food and service. Glass of Sangria…$9 on-line menu; $10 restaurant menu; $12 on the bill. Food average, but crab cakes dried out. The location is kind of cool, but We wouldn’t go back.

Total surprise stop to meet a friend since it's so convenient & 2 minutes off the fwy. Love the atmosphere, nice bar setup, wine wall, etc. Had a quick business lunch so we didn't sample any cocktails. I will be back to check out the vibe at dinner. Nice breakfast/lunch menu. I had the Caprese baguette. It was good. Needed some spring greens or arugula, less onions or just grill them instead of raw. Kettle chips came w/sando. Yum! They were warm when they came to the table. Had 3 different servers come & go so not entirely sure what was going on... It was early lunch so not crowded. Will def go back next time I'm in the area. You should too!

The Modern Kitchen is a hidden gem in LB. Every dish I have had is exceptional. You can tell when food is prepared with love. My go to dishes are the hatch chile dip, tuna melt and the homemade soups are divine. My favorites are the tomato bisque and Italian wedding soup. You will not be disappointed with any selection.

This is a wonderful little place, tucked into a large building on the ground floor. There's an excellent wines-by-the-glass selection (and bottles can be bought, too), and a wide array of appetizers and other things. I made a lunch out of beef carpaccio and chicken lettuce wraps - very nicely done.

The ambience is modern and informal, with lots of kinds of seating - round tables, rectangular tables, small tables, a small outdoor seating area. If you're in the (somewhat industrial looking) area, this is a worthy spot to relax for a bit.

Location is in a building you would not expect. Hard to tell from outside. Once in, it's a great little place that has a modern menu with excellent options. All ingredients are fresh and the coffee is very good. Will come back!

Wow! This is a hidden gem! Had a few hours until our flight out of Long Beach. Found this amazing spot for a coffee and was absolutely blown away by the owner(Shannon) and the menu! We ordered 2 coffees a sandwich and a cinnamon roll. The coffees were amazing, the owner made me a custom coffee. I asked for 'Something Sweet' and the drink was so good we ordered a 2nd one. Cinnamon roll was hot, sweet, and cream cheese frosted. Licked the bowl clean! Breakfast Sandwich was made with fresh ingredients and was so tasty! We will plan our future trips to this Airport just to have this coffee and cinnamon roll again! 10/10! Oh and the reggae music jamming is the vibe!!
