Our group of 10 adults and a toddler celebrated three birthdays at the Fairmont Breakers SkyRoom on August 2, and the entire experience was flawless. The room was beautifully lit, offering a stunning panoramic view of Long Beach Bay that set the perfect tone for the evening.
The three-course menu was a dream — every dish was beautifully presented, perfectly paced, and absolutely delicious. Our main server, Jessica, and her team were exceptional. Jessica was warm, attentive, and incredibly knowledgeable. She checked in with us regularly and went above and beyond by arranging for the chef to come out and meet us — even taking a few photos with our group!
It truly felt like an experience catered in heaven. Highly recommended for any special occasion.

Checked in 30 minutes early seated 15 minutes late. Ordered appetizers… Dinner rolls with butter and crabs lol ! The 3 of us got 2 dinners rolls for the table and 1 small crab cake after waiting 30 minutes ! Over an hour later our food arrived… we placed our food order and appetizers in at the same time thank goodness. Over all, portions small server not transparent and we were ask if we would like to move seats 10 minutes after sitting down lol ! Great place for drinks and a view but just make sure you eat somewhere else before coming. I do not recommend this place for dinner ! Do not mind paying top dollar for a restaurant but the service has to be equal… definitely not equal here lol

Sky Room is a historic restaurant that does not rest on it's laurels. The food is outstanding with unique dishes, service was equally excellent, and the atmosphere is understated elegance but not at all stuffy. Be sure to visit the rooftop bar for an after dinner drink and panoramic views of Long Beach.

Wow—such an impressive experience! This spot completely blew me away with its stunning views and gorgeous interior decor—the aesthetic is both elevated and romantic. I came here on a date and it truly delivered the perfect ambiance for something special.
The staff were incredibly friendly, attentive, and personable, which made the entire evening feel warm and welcoming.
We had the steak tartare, risotto, and ribeye—everything was absolutely delicious. And don’t skip the banana dessert—it was the perfect sweet finish.
A must if you’re visiting Long Beach and want some fine dining with a view of the water. I’ll definitely be back.

As a local, I was really looking forward to something spectacular—something I could brag to all my friends about. I always hope new restaurants in Long Beach succeed and stick around, but unfortunately, I was pretty disappointed.
Food: The only standout was the oysters, parker rolls & ceasar salad. The scallops wasn’t too bad but it was missing something. The quality and flavor of the steak was pretty bad. The halibut was overcooked and bland, and most of the main dishes reminded me of cafeteria food. At $50+ per plate, and billed as fine dining, I expected much more.
Service: Our server was friendly, but at one point, it felt like she disappeared. I’m not sure if they were short-staffed, but the service felt inconsistent.
Atmosphere: The space is beautiful with great views—something Long Beach really needs. If only the food matched the setting, it would be worth the high price.
I had high hopes and genuinely wanted to love this place. While I may return for the rooftop bar to hang out with friends, I don’t see myself coming back for a full meal.

A beautiful place to enjoy a relaxing dinner, incredible views. Last night was my second time dining at the Sky Room since it reopened. I have had the halibut and the scallops and they were both amazing. The crab cake was like none I've had before. The service is absolutely amazing I requested David again, he is absolutely wonderful. We also added the cherries jubilee and the bananas flambe they were done tableside and the show did not disappoint. I highly recommend the Sky Room it is great for dinner, a date night or a special occasion. Can't wait to go back! 🤩
