I wish I could give six stars. This is hands down the best vegan food I've ever had. Even my non-vegan friends love it. I first found out about them when they were at Portfolio, and became pretty much a regular when they moved to Made by Millworks. I've had literally almost every single thing on their brunch AND dinner menus, including their specials. Unfortunately, I haven't gone to them ever since they moved out of MbM and to the Farmer's Market, but I hear that they will possibly be opening up their own restaurant? If so, I am beyond excited!!!! It's been way too long since I had The Wild Chive. I hope the food is just as delicious the next time I try it (hopefully at their own place! ). I remember briefly speaking with the owner and chef of this place a couple times when I used to go regularly, and they were a very sweet and attentive person. They have a real talent! (They also probably don't remember me, haha! ) Honestly, all I have to say are good things about The Wild Chive. I remember dragging a lot of my non-vegan/vegetarian friends here, haha. The one thing I can't say anything about is customer service as it's been quite a while since I've been. I remember it always being good when I did go, however. To conclude, please let it be true that there will be a Wild Chive restaurant! It would make my dreams come true!

Currently they're a pop-up at various locations, but soon they'll be opening up a brick and mortar location. Today they were at the OC Vegan Fest in Santa Ana, and I got the blt, which was amazing! All vegan food.

We bought some of their dill havarti style vegan cheese over the weekend and it was gone in two days. So delicious. I can't wait to buy some more. It beats the store bought vegan cheese including Miyokos and kite hill by a log shot. Just creamy, delicious, fresh flavors!

This place is no longer at the farmers market! We were so bummed that we still haven't had a chance to try it but the good news is, the farmers market employee told us they were moving to a real storefront! Maybe this page should have a warning that it isn't a thing anymore because the farmers market website also still says they are at there. They might still have a pop up in downtown LB but not sure. One star because this stand doesn't exist and we went there only for this pop up.

OMG amazing! We get some Plant Alchemy whenever we see them, and it's always a treat. My favorites are the cashew cheese pizza and the cinnamon rolls. Their pretzel buns are also really, really good. I'm not sure if they always offer it but if they have it available do yourself a favor and get some. Oh - I can't forget the seitan bacon and gardenzola cheese, which are both super tasty. The team is always happy and smiling, and they always offer us tastings of new cheeses and other things. Love them!

I bought two cheeses today after tasting samples at the Long Beach farmers market, delicious, I didn't even know it was vegan at first either. Just wish the cheeses were cheaper. I ordered the cheese pizza and I did not like it though. The cheeses tastes great just out of the fridge. I am not vegan or vegetarian. The people were very nice.

I finally had a chance to try this place at the LB Farmer's Market! I will repeat what other reviewers are saying that the Stuffed French Toast is beyond delicious!!! Today was their last day at the market but I'm excited to try more when they settle into their new place. We had about a 40 minute wait, but thanks to other reviewers, I did not arrive hungry and we spent the time going for a walk by the water while we waited for our order. The only bummer was that I took the food for the road and the provided fork broke trying to cut into the French Toast, and the prongs were a bit splintery, but I appreciate the effort to not create more plastic waste. If you're doing the same, I recommend asking for a knife (not sure if they have them at the pop ups) or bring your own fork. Luckily I happened to have silverware in my car! :D I appreciated the friendly service and my food was ready about 10 minutes early! Thank you for the delicious vegan food!!!

The vegan BLT was sooooooo good! They come up with amazing ways to go vegan. The only thing is that there was no comfortable seating available. They do a pop up in an artsy store. There is not a lot of space to sit so you should pretty much plan a spot to eat. Other than that, it was a really great experience.

Let me start by saying that I am not a vegetarian or vegan and I think the food here is amazing! Not good for vegan amazing, but just regular amazing. The wait is insanely long so make sure to not be hangry when you order your food. I wish they had a truck or a brick and mortar spot where you can access them more regularly. In short: try it!

Hands down, Plant Alchemy makes my favorite plant-based cheeses! I've been following this vendor around various pop-ups around SoCal for about 2 years now and anytime they offer their assorted Cheese Plate, I have to get it! Great way to taste all the different varieties they offer! One plate I had included a sharp cheddar spread, spicy Yellowbird sauce goatless cheese, Saganaki-style mozzarella, carrot lox, pickled radish, and gluten-free rosemary-flavored CRACKers. Even if the Cheese Plate isn't on the menu, there are always samples available and they highly encourage you to try it. I especially love the Pepper Jill and the Tajin Muenster cheeses. Perfect to snack on with their CRACKers. Mmm!!! Years ago, a vendor called JayceLab once made Toasted Cheese Raviolis stuffed with Plant Alchemy cheddar. It's the most delicious thing in the world! bit.ly/2f1GD8c Owners Chef Ted and his wife Trang are very friendly! I love that it's a family business and that one of their daughters is also involved in the kitchen. Plant Alchemy pops-up every 1st, 2nd, and 4th Sunday at the Marina Farmer's Market in Long Beach. I've also seen Plant Alchemy pop-up at Smorgasburg LA, Green Saturday LA, Bixby Knolls First Fridays, Cocobella Creamery, Cosmic Brewery, and Yorkshire Brewery. Their menu used to change with each pop-up but I think they've had a somewhat consistent menu since vending at Marina Farmer's Market. Here's a long list of things I've had from them over the years: - Potato Chorizo Pizza - V-Ghettios and Meatballs - Monte Cristo Sammie - Hawaiian Roll Slider with BBQ Turkey Bacon - Red Curry Cheese Tofu Sushi - Breakfast Sandwich - Cinnamon Roll - Tofu Benedictus - Breakfast Taco - Open-faced Turkey & Cheddar Sandwich - Vegan Loco Moco - BBQ Chik'n & Cheddar Hot Pocket - Bao Slider - Chik'n Biscuit Pie - Stuffed Sourdough Pretzel Buns - Red Curry Mac & Cheese with tempeh bacon - Cinnamon Roll Cupcakes - Cheese Plate - Cha Siu Bao Slider - Teriyaki Tofu Musubi Most memorable of all these yummy dishes? Probably the Loco Moco. But there are a lot of close seconds such as V-Ghettios and Breakfast Sandwich. The Hawaiian Rolls are also amazing! In all honestly, anything and everything I've had from Plant Alchemy is delicious! 5-stars all around :)

WOW WOW WOW PLANT-BASED CHEESE DELIGHT!!!! The pesto goatish cheese was LIFE CHANGING. Absolutely heavenly, especially spread on their handmade gluten free rosemary crackers. It was love at first taste. Try it and you'll see for yourself!

I love Wild Chive's Sunday brunch at the LB Marina farmers market. I stick to the breakfast in bread and am always so happy (there was one time it was too salty, but otherwise, always flawless). I love that all of their meals come with a side salad, get your greens folks. Service is always friendly and usually quick. If there's a long wait, they'll tell you the wait time, so use that to peruse the rest of the market. You can even bring your own Tupperware to save waste, LOVE! I've been trying to figure out when else they pop up cuz I want to try their lunch/dinner options!

It took a minute to actually find this little spot because I ended up getting distracted by the talented musicians who had set up right in front of their sign. I ended up ordering the Stuffed French Toast. Sandwiched in between two carmelized potato Texas French toasts I was delighted to find one of a kind chocolate and hazelnut spread lubricated over fresh bananas. The texture of the spread was the right harmony of a crunch without overbearing in sweetness. Topped off with thinly sliced toasted almonds, fresh strawberries and more bananas, coconut whip, powdered sugar drizzled with pure maple syrup you won't be disappointed. Videos and photos don't do justice and the friendly service is superb. Shoutout to Jasmine and Wendy and all the amazing contributors to The Wild Chive. The quality and taste of this place was worth the hour drive in traffic for me :)
