The service was great, prices great, apps good, but sushi itself wasn't my favorite. Went for Happy hour, and tried a few roles and apps. Very inexpensive and reasonable, but if I'm craving sushi I wouldn't come here for it. Cheap tasty apps, yes! Good service, yes!

I feel bad for giving itn2 stars because our server was so nice. The spicy edamame was good, even spice, greasy towards the bottom of the bun ch. The Jessica Albacore sushi platter was overly fishy and only ate half the platter of 8pieces. The Tonkotsu Ramen was tasty, but average. The Takoyaki had a mountain of fish flakes on top, but was pretty good. We came here with just one table filled in the place, but another couple the same time as us. It took well into 30+ minutes for my Ramen to get to the table, while the other items were slightly delayed but acceptable. The place had a random rush right after we arrived and a table of 4 had 3 ravens before my own and an sandwich served, they even paid and left before us. Again, service people were great, but only 1 cook and 1 waiter for the time we were here, and, they claimed to have been dealing with an electrical issue in the back. I want to like this place more, will likely give it a 2nd chance after some time has passed. I believe in 2nd chances. Give this place a try, but maybe take sushi off the menu?

I finally went there last night with my wife. I'd been wanting to check it out. Here are my ratings: 1) Ambiance - Meh... music playing which didn't match the video playing on a wood panel (yeah, figure that one out). Also, like most of the "new places" along Atlantic Avenue, the acoustics are terrible... there is no carpet, ceiling tile, or acoustic material on the walls (other than wood, which does help) to absorb the sounds bouncing around. 2) Service - Pretty good, but understaffed; I did have to ask twice for extra sauce. For some reason, we had 2 young ladies tending to us, neither of whom introduced themselves. 3) Food - A for quality, C- for variety. I must say, however, that I quite enjoyed their limited menu. The dishes were true to their descriptions, and delicious. 4) Price - Very reasonable! This is one of the main reasons I give this place a high ranking. Yes, they're new, and still figuring stuff out, I'm sure, but I just wanted to put my 2 cents in, and hopefully persuade others to try them out. Their ramen tasted especially good to me... don't really know why, but we enjoyed ourselves, as I hope you will too! :)

Worst service on Atlantic. We stepped into the waiting area, the only people there. We were told to wait to clean off a table. A party of 2, then 4 came in after us... and got seated first! When I told the hostess (pink hair) she might want to seat the patrons who arrive first she said "we don't have a wait list, and you all came in at the same time" #unobservant. When we looked around... about 5 other tables had not been attended to and were twiddling their thumbs like we were. Be better prepared on a Friday night Tokyo Guild.

Open Japanese style restaurant with outdoor seating which accommodates dogs in the patio. The patio consist of two high top tables that can fix max 6 people and bar top seating around the parameter of the patio. Inside they have TVs which you can have them change to a sport that you want to watch while enjoying a beer and some of their wings ! Street parking only on Atlantic Blvd. or parking lot across the street, but not difficult to find parking on Atlantic Blvd itself. We have no complaints about their service. They accommodated us quickly and food came out promptly. They do have an automatic gratuity charge of 15%, which is noted on the menu with more details. Now with their food, we ordered: - Spicy chicken wings: (10/10) our favorite item we ordered. Comes with 6 wings and was perfectly battered. Has a sweet tangy taste to it. We are definitely coming back for their HH wings and beer. -Spicy Tonkatsu Ramen Combo with 4 pcs gyoza: (7/10) I personally felt that the the soup was too thick and oily for my taste. If you don't like spicy, order it with no spice or mild because spicy will get your mouth kickin'. My fiancé enjoyed the ramen if only it was not spicy. The gyoza is chicken served with lime ponzu sauce. -Tundergun roll: (9/10) sheared salmon roll with garlic butter sauce. Comes with small shrimps on the plate as well. This is a much more unique roll that I have tasted. the sauce is light and not too overpowering from the roll. I gave this a 9/10 because it's something that cannot be finished myself and can only be shared due to the garlic butter does get tiring. We would come back to try more items and for their HH.

The food here is delicious. We ordered multiple dishes and enjoyed them all. Only comment there was one fried dish was a little under in the middle probably due to too hot oil. The service was a bit lacking due entirely to short staffing and not an absence of effort or concern on the part of the guys working. They be were busting and moving, just a lot of folks and orders coming. Definitely need another server to assist. They instantly accommodated us and worked to make the bill right while offering comped dishes. Thank you so much! We'll be back to eat again for sure!

Really like the thought put into the menu, decor, environment and even music played. Looking for a chill yet delicious meal outing, highly recommend. The menu has a vast selection of different Japanese cuisine. We had the bumble bee roll and it was delicious as is not needing any condiments. Looking forward to coming again! If you like Pandas honey walnut shrimp you'll love the EBI Mayo! Very tasty !

Not bad but a few kinks that need to be ironed out. First off it's very nicely decorated and everything was clean and modern. The service was excellent and everything came out super quick. Here's the kinks: We ordered a glass of Chardonnay and a glass of Sauvignon blanc (it's beer and wine only here but they have a good selection), they came back a few minutes later to say the Sauvignon blanc had not been chilled. No biggie I got the Chardonnay instead. We ordered the Brussels Sprouts and two sushi rolls. They though out some shisito peppers and told us they were on the house because they accidentally made extra. Nice! They were super good, but we never got our Brussels sprouts. The first sushi roll came out and instead of the fish that was supposed to come in it as stated on the menu, they said they switched it to imitation crab and asked if that was ok. No that's not ok. First of all, imitation crab is cheap filler, I would never order a roll with that even if I could which brings me to my second point which is that I cannot have imitation crab because it contains wheat (I have Celiac). I was glad they asked. We ordered a different roll in place of that roll and they took the imitation crab one away, but then brought out the same roll with avocado and cucumber instead of it instead of crab which we did not order. Still they gave it to on the house which was very nice. Our two rolls we ordered came out and everything was delicious. It was a somewhat confusing experience for how simple our order was and we didn't even notice that we didn't get the Brussels sprouts with all the back and forth. Would definitely return, but my advise is to not put imitation crab in your rolls!

We visited a couple weeks ago and were excited to see a great restaurant open up in this location. Food was great and a great alternative to the normal Bixby Knolls restaurants. Staff was very nice and even changed out one of our sushi rolls when someone preferred something else Tokyo Guild will become one of our go-to restaurants in Bixby.

My husband and I have visited this new spot a few times and we love it! The beer and cocktails are tasty and different, the menu is great for small bites and sushi is creative. Some of our favorites are the takoyaki, ebi mayo, katsu sando, and most of the sushi. I also love the one-two cocktail. We also like the fun music videos that play on the wall. It adds to the fun atmosphere. And the staff is kind and attentive. A great addition to the neighborhood.

The location is great. It's got a nice downtown vibe and the restaurant is very welcoming. It was steady to get a table but for there being so little people, the service was pretty slow. Despite being slow, they were quick to take our plates away when we were finished eating (or when they assumed we were finished eating). The food itself was fabulous. Salmon Caudo - 4/5 the truffle on the salmon was so perfect. I didn't give it a 5 only because for $14 you can expect two tiny pieces so it's a bit costly. Thundergun - 3/5 it tastes like soup in a sushi Dragon - 5/5 I'm a huge fan of eel so it's a bit biased but it was extremely well prepared with great texture and taste. Crunch roll - 4/5 a bit lacking in substance but overall pretty good. Also got the dessert which was delicious (seen in picture). I'll probably be back again.

Nice restaurant off of Atlantic. Great environment for enjoying a lunch or dinner with friends and/or family. All of the sushi is super fresh and tasty. My daughter enjoyed all three of rolls/ sushi she ordered. My wife loved the ramen noodles she ordered. I had the wings Brussels sprouts and two sushi rolls I ate. The service was outstanding and all of the employees make you feel like family when you are enjoying your meal.

My friend and I spent an hour of just waiting, not receiving any appetizers or portions of our order, and just a cup of water, without any refills. The tables next to us both had come before us and also didn't receive their food orders or water refills. I wanted to ask our server if there were any problems but both servers not only looked completely stressed running all around the store, but one actually started crying. Shortly afterwards, another customer, got angry, standing up, yelling and complaining to a employee, making a scene. My friend and I canceled our orders and walked right out after the atmosphere became thick with anger and tension. I believe this situation could have been handled better and alleviated if the workers informed their customers as to why there was a long wait, or even just warning them there is going to be a wait because every table in my area all had no idea what was going on and were all just left in the dark. Also, if the workers are that distressed, that also makes me question how management is treating their employees. Questionable if I'd even want to ever give this place a chance after witnessing all this.
