We’ve been there several times with larger groups. The staff is really friendly and accommodating. I’ve never been disappointed with the food.

Great spot, thanks Yelpers! The mans and I were doing some thrifting in LB and needed a bite and we settled upon this spot and I'm so glad we did. It was the perfect vibe for us. Not crowded and the music wasn't too loud so you can actually hear your date. My boyfriend got the lasagna and it was delicious! I will order this next time. When I think of lasagne I want it to taste like this. And at $16, if also comes with a generous side salad and a side of garlic bread. I got the chicken Marsala ($20) and it came with a generous portion of chicken, sauce, homemade mashed potatoes and the most wonderfully sautéed asparagus. Yum! We will come back here for sure. We had such a lovely meal, we even decided to try the peach cobbler for dessert ($10). It was a big portion that came a la mode. We left happy and full and even had some leftovers. Our server was sweet and attentive. Keep on rockin Tony's! Now we see why you get such great reviews. We will be back soon.

What a great find of a wonderful Mom & Pop restaurant - and well deserving of their 4.7 stars! Also please note that they close at 8:00 so come earlier but it wasn't crowded at all (but it should be!) I got the Lasagna ($16) and it was fantastic - and the portion is very large so I definitely felt satisfied. It also came with a generous salad. I got Caesar and it was really good & came with cucumbers & cherry tomatoes. My girlfriend got the Chicken Marsala ($20) with garlic mashed potatoes and some of the best asparagus I've ever had! (You don't hear that too often do you?) ...but they had char marks on it and was also sautéed so nice. Chicken Marsala also comes with a generous salad. We finished off this delicious dinner with Peach Cobbler a-la-mode ($10). It was large with 2 scoops of delicious, creamy vanilla ice cream and it was fantastic - a great way to wrap up this beautiful meal!

Walked into EJ's and sat down for 15 minutes without service. Decided to give Tony's a try. Family owned and operated, very friendly service. Delicious Italian and Mexican food! I tried the pasta special with lobster and shrimp and it was amazing! Beers were $5 each. Highly recommend!

The teriyaki burger was great, so was the peaceful laid back atmosphere. I'll be back.

*A Hidden Gem in Long Beach: Tony's Kitchen* Great Food & Good prices! During a recent visit to Long Beach, I had the pleasure of dining at Tony's Kitchen, a delightful find that left a lasting impression. Nestled in a quaint and cozy setting, this laid-back eatery offers a fantastic dining experience that combines attentive service, affordable prices, and, most importantly, scrumptious food. Our table ordered a variety of dishes, including the breakfast burrito, steak & eggs, a chocolate chip pancake, and the standout dish—the blackened mahi mahi wrap accompanied by fresh, not frozen, fried zucchini. Each dish was a WINNER! The blackened mahi mahi wrap, in particular, was amazingly flavorful and easily the star of our meal. I almost forgot to mention their salsas (red & green) which were both fantastic. In fact, I brought some home with me with our leftovers & used them on several dishes I made. What surprised me most was the tranquility of the restaurant, a stark contrast to the bustling, often overcrowded/overpriced breakfast and lunch spots we're accustomed to in the Valley. Not only does Tony's Kitchen offer food that rivals or surpasses these places, but it does so in a setting that allows you to truly savor your meal without the rush, noise, and stress plus it's affordable!Whether you're a local or just passing through Long Beach, this gem deserves a visit. I'm already craving another taste of their mahi mahi wrap and zucchini fries and look forward to my next meal here. Tony's Kitchen is a testament to the joy of discovering an underrated restaurant that serves food deserving of a packed house every day.

We were looking for somewhere to wait out the traffic and found this little place. Service was great and the food even better. We had the Shrimp Scampi and the Penne Pasta Chicken Marsala. Very reasonably priced and the servings are large. Nice and cozy atmosphere with a mix of old school rock music and Italian music.

Simply, the food was so good. I've had a little bit of everything off their menu and have not been disappointed in the slightest.

We stopped at this quaint little spot, believe it or not, while on the way to eat at another restaurant a few doors down lol. I had a sudden urge to try something new and was glad I did. Tony's claims to represent Italian and Mexican food. As it was my first meal of the day, I opted for breakfast. The chilaquiles were pretty good. I ordered it with the green sauce (red is also offered). I appreciate that it comes with 2 eggs. Many places only serve it with one leaving me a bit unsatisfied. The eggs were perfectly over easy and the rice/beans were pretty good. I didn't try the omelette but my husband really liked it. And by the way it was a chicken chile verde. The potatoes were yummy as was the pancake (not pictured). We also ordered a side of sausage which was sliced down the middle and had a sage or herby flavor to it. The service was very friendly and efficient. It's not a big restaurant but it's clean and cute. I can't wait to try a lunch there.
