I spent a little over $50 for the crispy cauliflower appetizer and the Beyond Steak Filet meal with broccoli and potatoes. The meal left much to be desired. The steak was extremely salty and the broccoli was undercooked. Broccoli is one of the easier dishes to prepare so this is unacceptable. The appetizer was palatable, though everything had a slight aftertaste that I cannot explain. I appreciated the pleasant customer service and the ambience, but for the amount paid, I was hoping for a different experience taste-wise. Perhaps, this was a one-time incident, so I am willing to try another meal to see if this was the case.

Let's start off by saying- I am a carnivore. Never really liked the meat substitutes or tofu. I have had some recent stomach issues, so I decided to try a vegetarian meal. While being extremely skeptical, I went to Veggie Grill in Long Beach. I got the Far East Thai Chik'n bowl, with dressing and jalapeños on the side. WOW WOW WOW!!! I love Thai food and this really hit the spot. The Chik'n was actually really good, dressing tasty, pickled veggies scrumptious, brown rice (which I usually don't like because it's too firm and dry and tastes funny) was great. I LOVED it. Will definitely be coming back to try something else. Sorry picture was an after thought and I was half done, lol. Great friendly fast service as well.

This is my go-to spot in Long Beach. The food is always on point, the place is clean, and the vibe is super chill. The staff here really make the difference because they’re always friendly and take care of me every time I come in. Angel, the manager, runs the place like a pro. You can tell they actually care about the customers. Big love to the whole Veggie Grill team for always showing great energy and service.

Best vegan food

Veggie Grill is my favorite vegan restaurant chain, and even non-vegans love it. They have healthy protein bowls and hearty salads, and also comfort food classics like burgers, chicken sandwiches, and onions rings. It’s fast casual and you can get in-and-out quickly but I like to linger for a second round and their seasonal desserts.

One of the saddest vegan meals I have ever paid for. Plain Jane stuff. Onion rings were burnt and hard and like 8 sad rings for $7. The Chkn thing was something straight out and 80s minor league baseball stadium. For the price of that food I could have done better somewhere else. Maybe there are better items and these two are there worst, but they shouldn't even sell them for money. Just take them off the menu.

Such a great place. I tried the Baja Taco and the Buffalo Chicken burger, both were amazing. One of the best vegan places I’ve ever been too. Although it took a while to get my food. I’m totally coming back.

I eat here any time in the area. The food is so good. It’s delicious whether you are vegan or not. There are a lot of options; sandwiches, burgers, salads, wraps, pasta, soups, cookies, fries and even onion rings. For drinks there are bottled or fountain drinks as well as shakes. If I had a Veggie Grill near my house I’d eat there a couple of times a week!
