The fish and chips were delicious. Exactly what I was craving. Small interior but people were dining in. I took mine to go. Made fresh while I waited. Owners/staff were very nice.

Hidden Gem Alert! This place feels like the last of a vanishing species: the true mom-and-pop shop. The moment I walked in, I felt that familiar pang of recognition: something only children of immigrants might understand. There's a look to it, unmistakable: the storefront window with its slightly uneven finish, the fridge in the corner where you're trusted to help yourself to a drink, the owner who is both cashier and cook, moving seamlessly between roles with the ease of someone who has built their life around this place, the old manual register till that doesn't suggested tips starting at 20%.... Just incredible food served on a humble dixie plate. And, of course, the quiet generosity; this is the kind of business that sponsors the local little league team without forms, applications, or committees. Just heart and an honorable plaque with the team picture to show for it.

When my fish taco arrived, I surprised myself by tearing up. The batter was perfectly crisp, the vegetables freshly cut by hand.... each piece even only in the most human way, and the fries golden and crunchy. The food was more than good; it was grounding, nostalgic, even moving. It tasted like care, like memory, like a small miracle served on a plate at a price you can actually afford. CASH only!

Shops like this are disappearing, but this one is still here, and for as long as it is, I'll keep coming back.

Ordered 2 piece fish and chips, and 4 piece shrimp. Delicious light batter. Tartar sauce and cocktail sauce were tasty. Lady taking my order on the phone was a bit short but that’s okay, they’re busy!

Everything here is priced well and i really appreciate that considering even fast food places are a minimum $20 meal these days.
Other fish and chips spots are so expensive.

High quality fish and ingredients and well made & very consistent. Village is beloved by neighborhood locals and is a classic fish & chips spot. I often get their sandwiches; pastrami, turkey, roast beef or ham.

RUDE. RUDE. RUDE. I own a business and we were returning a missed phone call on our business phone. The guy on the phone started SCREAMING AT ME to stop calling them. Idk who the heck is calling us from that number or if it’s being used for scam calls but that is NO WAY to speak to someone calling your business. OUTRAGEOUS. Owner, whoever was answering your calls on 5/13 at 2:00pm, you should probably speak to your employee.

The seafood here is super great!

This place is truly a blessing. Genuine smiles matched with the crispiest fish I've had on the West Coast. Took my 8 year old for his spring break for a quick bite after the beach; Lord knows he's picky, but the food touched his soul as it did mine. 10/10, good down home food.

Their food is literally amazing. The fish tacos are a different level.
