Really great. Chicken and waffles. Waffles are light and airy. Staff was incredibly helpful and the flavors are really really good.
Portion sizes are large so definitely split a main course if you're not feeling very hungry. Pricing is on the higher end for what you're getting, but I'd say it's worth it.
Also, sitting on the patio is a bit noisy as the train station is right across and there's quite a bit of activity from the vagrant population who the city still allows to wander their streets.

I cannot recommend & Waffles enough. Serge, the owner, is one of the warmest and most welcoming people you’ll ever meet—he truly makes you feel like family the moment you walk in. The food is incredible—honestly the best breakfast I’ve had in my entire life. Everything tastes fresh, thoughtfully prepared, and full of flavor.
They also have amazing keto-friendly options, which can be so hard to find, and you never feel like you’re compromising on taste. The ingredients are clearly fresh and high quality. It’s one of those rare spots where you finish your meal and already can’t wait to come back.
If you’re debating going—just go. It’s a gem.

We had a great breakfast at & Waffles. The service was fast and friendly. The food was amazing. I had the country fried skillet which was SO good and filling. My wife had strawberry Nutella waffles and I was able to have a bite or two, it was equally good. The coffee was really good as well. Easy to find, easy to park, and parking validation. I recommend that you give them a try. You won't be disappointed.

If you want a great waffle and amazing service in Long Beach, this is the spot! My husband and I were staying in the area for 3 days, and we ate breakfast at this restaurant twice in that time. The food was hot and delicious, service was top notch, restaurant was clean, and overall experience was one to remember. Do yourself a favor and order the churro waffle, you won’t be disappointed!

We walked to & Waffles to get breakfast before going on our cruise. 10/10 would recommend if you want a filling, affordable breakfast before sailing away. I would definitely get the waffle even if you are sharing with someone. The simple plain waffle is one of the best waffles I’ve ever had.

Hosted my daughter’s 15th birthday here, and I couldn’t have found a better place to celebrate such a special day for her. From the moment I spoke with Serge until the day of the event, everything went so smoothly. We reserved the space for about 40 guests, and I was even able to bring my own table arrangements, which made the setup feel extra personal. The service was outstanding, the food was delicious, and the customer service was top-notch. My guests were so impressed by how quickly the food came out and how attentive the waiters were — everyone loved the food! We’ll definitely be coming back to &Waffles!

Normally I like waffles with the smaller squares, but these Belgium waffles were excellent. Had the steak omelette cooked as specified, and they brought two kinds of homemade salsa which were killer.
