I normally go to this Walmart once every month and last month and today my cashier was an employee named Dale. He said he's worked there about two months. I must say he is the best cashier I've ever had ring me up! He is very professional, kind, and very helpful! I recommend him for employee of the month and a promotion. I work in Human Resources and he's an excellent example of a valuable employee to take care of. Take care of him so he stays with you for many years! He has made my shopping experience an excellent one!

Everything I needed was locked up and no one showed up when I was pushing the button for assistance. Such a inconvenience! If you're in a hurry and need baby wash do not come to this store because you will not be able to buy it! After 10 minutes of pushing the button I left the store Staff walked by me abs when asked for help they reply that they don't have a key

Long as lines and have 2 check stands open employees walking around everywhere but nobody wants to open another check stand been standing in line for over an hour. Horrible place and then they lock everything up like people wanna steal everything they sell.

One of my favorite Walmart's to go to, it's pretty up to date and very organized. One of the workers named Jose is always very welcoming there and informative. He's always full of energy and positive vibes which makes me feel a bit more lively. Thank you Jose for always being very friendly & professional!

I really hate this Walmart. I hate going here, I hate when I remember too late that I'm already here. This has got to be one of the worst ones. First off this Walmart is literally in the middle of 3cities Lakewood, Long Beach and Bellflower. It's location is very convenient. But man ol man. They have locks on the deodorant, the heating patches, like DAMN!! Is it that serious? Do you know how long it takes to wait for them? And then they still gotta unlock it at the cashier.. Stop treating people like they don't have decency, home training and like they already gonna steal something. A quick store run can end up being like 45 extra minutes, cause you gotta push the button, wait for someone to come, then it's almost like you can't even have the time to see if you want something else. Because the worker is just staring at you, waiting for hurry up and get what you want, when you looking through a damn GLASS!! Even then the prices are okay, it's Walmart, but I feel like every time I go in for basic items like 4-5 it end up being $80 but I can go over to Target pick the same items, maybe even better and it come out cheaper. And mind you the shopping experience is so much better. You can freely look and choose the items you want. The employees seem to have better energy, more helpful and more friendlier and they don't ask to see your receipt when your walking out. Like how many stops do I need??? Y'all making the shoppers experience really unpleasant. Mind you Target has black and Mexican and all types of diversity there and they are all still on point!! Which is what I love about an establishment. But this specific Walmart is trash. I really don't care what type of demographic of people shop there, everyone deserves a pleasant shopping experience, especially when hitting a Super Center like Walmart. We all know we gonna spend more than we expected. It just has everything you need! But if imma be spending my money, giving consistent business. I wanna leave with a good taste in my mouth about the experience. Period.

I commend management at this location. Limiting number of shoppers to implement social distancing. Providing carts and readily available sanitizing wipes. Short lines and quick checkout so no one was cramped in the checkout area. This Walmart is setting an example for other retailers and are taking a proactive approach on keeping their shoppers safe. I only stood in line for approx 13 mins to have a worry free shipping experience. Probably the best Walmart run I've made since the start of the pandemic as I normally frequent the LB location on Carson.

Well here we go. It's a flipping Walmart people. The lot is crammed the store is jammed it's what you should expect. They do have almost everything you need and that's why it is that way. I come here as least as possible just because everyone else is always here. On the off chance that you get there on the off hours every thing goes ok. What can you do about it just go darn it.

Thanks to the customer service department . They helped me return an item hassle free

I went in to return an item and I had the worst customer service in the customer service return section, staff member was rude and brushing me off so they don't have to deal with me and other. I suggest for the staff members to take customer service classes because they do not have any experience in service with a smile with customer!!!!!

Not sure what changed but as a healthcare worker across the street, it was nice to have had the privilege the past 7 or so months to be able to show my badge and walk right in. I understand that is was a privilege and they don't have to do that, but I also don't have to shop there either. That was really the only thing that kept me going there other than a handful of amazing employees.

Associate Crystal and another seen customers at the pick up like both stood and had a conversation before helping or even calling someone to the delay to assist this is the worst customer service I've ever experienced in a pick up department

There were shoppers throughout the store with masks pulled down to their chins and Walmart employees doing nothing about it. I counted 7 people in 2 minutes' time near the checkout area with their masks pulled down, including an employee. I won't shop at stores that don't care about customer safety.

The absolute worst customer service ever. Today I left my Id in my car and came back three minutes later and ask the checker where my items were and she was very sharp with an angry tone stating " they took it back" twice..after asking another cashier she pointed out my items..which were bagged and never returned. As I went to purchase the items from a different cashier she too had a nasty horrible attitude stating " if I bring my own bags they cannot bag my items in it.. as I tried to explain that it was not a bag from home..she too had a nasty horrible demeanor .. serious attitude stating I should not have placed them in the bag.. it was the absolute worst customer service; furthermore I guess they have a problem with stealing.. because toiletries are locked..you have to call someone over to unlock a cabinet for toiletries..it is so inconvenient..who has time to wait on someone to unlock a cabinet so you can shop for deodorant. God forbid if you are not sure what you want... because the person who unlocked the cabinet is standing ..breathing over you the entire time .I felt rushed to say the least... I would rather drive to cerritos which is farther from my home than to visit this absolute substandard service oriented long beach facility. The entire cashier staff needs to be retrained on the value of outstanding customer service..this has nothing to do with race as the previous reviewer insinuates.. it's a false generalization that you will not get served if you are white..(one of the cashiers was white who was rude..the other a minority); however it has EVERYTHING to do with poor leadership .. inadequate training because the tone comes from the top....until leadership does its job and aims towards this store's location meeting and exceeding customer expectations...do yourself a favor and shop elsewhere!

Out of all the Walmart's in the area this location is the best. Love it when you need a cabinet open it's takes a few minutes and someone is there. Not the same urgency at the other locations. Very helpful staff and haven't come upon a rude associate not once. Can't say that about the other locations. Maybe management from other locations need to spend time at this Walmart to see how it's done.
