I recently visited White Wasabi Sushi and have mixed feelings about my experience. While the price was decent and there was ample parking available, I couldn't help but feel disappointed with the freshness of the fish. It didn't taste as fresh as I had hoped, which detracted from my overall enjoyment of the meal. However, the price point was reasonable, so I felt like I got what I paid for.

Not bad, not great. An average Americanized sushi spot that fall more on the sweet side than what I prefer. So we've wanted to try this place for awhile and finally decided to check it out while near 2nd and PCH. Relatively small spot with a sushi bar and 5 or 6 tables. We came during an off time so we easily got a table. The service is pretty good and the servers were very nice. In reading their extensive menu, you can tell there's a strong southeast Asian influence with a lot of sauces you would see in Thai foods. Otherwise, a lot of similar rolls to what you can find in other local sushi spots. We tried a number of their rolls but and they were all pretty decent but nothing stood out. They also lean on the sweet side which is probably from their southeast Asian influence. The best part is the fresh wasabi that was cut and mixed in a dipping sauce. If you like wasabi, definitely order it. All in all it's an average sushi spot that leans sweet. I probably won't come here again but wouldn't refuse it if someone else wanted to come.

White Wasabi was my spot back in the day. Haven't been here in years and was in the area so I stopped by. The happy hour is from 11:30 (I think) to 7:00. One of the best hours in my opinions. There's a bunch of food items that are discounted! I ordered a couple of different menu items cause I was hungry! I was not disappointed. The service was lovely. My server was very attentive and was able to get me the million and one condiments that I ask for while eating. The Devil roll was perfect - texture, taste, and sauces all worked together to make this roll so, so good. Spicy tuna on crispy rice was great. The garlic edamame was a great treat as it had crispy garlic chunks in the edamame. I couldn't stop eating it. I 10/10 recommend this place as your next sushi spot!
Best sushi! I've been looking for a solid sushi spot near our new place and I'm so glad we came across White Wasabi. Fresh fish and great flavors!

Very disappointed in this place. I drove 20 minutes to try this place out and I'm sorry I wasted my time doing so. I ordered their lunch special with the eel and avocado. They charge an extra $1 for the eel rolls and there was almost no eel at all. It was mostly avacado, rice, and cucumbers. I will not return.
