They are good. I try them whenever I'm around
The breakfast sandwich was good, if a little on the small side. I ordered it with goat cheese and avocado, which increased the base price by $4.50. The chai latte also met expectations. While I was satisfied with the food and service, these two items cost me $27! I guess I'm still not used to living with these inflated prices yet...

Cute little place with a limited menu of tasty food and an outdoor eating area. The cheese scone is AWESOME.
Kid-friendliness: Plenty of space outside for strollers, etc.

The food is good if you like to spend 15$ on a snack. I spent 5$ on what they said was cold brew black coffee. It was half ice, which I removed to leave light brown, bad tasting water.

The rotating cast of cakes and pastries are positively delightful. There are other cafes nearby that offer lavender and cardamom syrups, but WEOP's claim to fame (in my opinion) is their herbaceous rosemary latte. While the din of traffic is unavoidable, the outdoor seating area is a cute semi-secluded street patio with purse hooks near each table. They also bust out propane heaters on the rare occasion a chill blows through Long Beach.
Vegetarian options: As with most cafes, most of the pastries at WEOP qualify as vegetarian. Vegans will have less options, especially in regards to their more substantial plates and bowls. Cheese and eggs are staples of the brunch/lunch menu.

The breakfast Sammie is good, my friends added some other things to theirs and they enjoyed theirs as well. Coffee was good but my mocha had a small sour taste to it so I mightve got a bad bean but was still drinkable.

What a delightful spot! Visiting from out of town and so glad we found this place. Staff are lovely, food is great, service is awesome, what more can you ask? I will return!

Not only do they mislabel the terrible “vegan” options but they charge extra for plant milk they don’t even bother to shake. Don’t bother, as someone else said, cross the street over to Salud for better options.
What a delightful find in Long Beach! As a self-professed espresso snob, I’m always wary of coffee (especially my beloved espresso shots) from cafes that also focus on food as they’re two different disciplines—and places rarely do both well…Wide Eyes Open Palms is an exception!Their espresso is splendid, frittata flavourful and fresh, the guava jam is absolutely to die for, and the chocolate sea salt espresso cookie is bomb.Prices are on the upper end and the cafe is small, but all is balanced by the lovely fare.Enjoy!

My favorite shop in Long Beach, and the best frittata I've ever had anywhere, ever. Seriously. The patio is cute AF.I get a cold brew growler every week, and the ricotta jam toast is so good. All of the jams are made in house or locally. The service is always flawless and kind, and they know many of their customers by name ?️⚧️?️?

I recently had the pleasure of visiting this charming café, and I must say, it left quite an impression. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with warm smiles and a welcoming atmosphere. Our friend from Dusseldorf, whose taste buds are undoubtedly refined, vouched for the quality of the pastries and coffee, and I couldn't agree more. Each sip of coffee was rich and satisfying, while the pastries were baked to perfection, boasting a delightful blend of flavors. One aspect that particularly impressed me was the selection of breakfast and brunch dishes. It's not often you find a place that offers such a variety of fresh, light, and healthy options. Whether you're craving something savory or sweet, there's something on the menu to satisfy every palate. The ambiance of the café is casual yet inviting, with indoor bar seating adding to the cozy atmosphere. However, the real gem lies in the outdoor patio, complete with heat lamps and sun shades. It's the perfect spot to enjoy your meal al fresco, no matter the weather. What truly sets this establishment apart is its commitment to being a local favorite. Supporting a place run by such passionate individuals who consistently deliver exceptional food and service is a pleasure. Overall, I can confidently say that this café is a hidden gem worth discovering.
