Had the crab fried rice...luke warm. Bulgogi...on a cast iron skillet... with onions, were barely warm and meat was like warm. Men's bathroom had no hand soap, no paper towels...even Stave across the way keeps up their facilities better maintained. This location doesn't compare to Downtown L.A. location. Never coming back again.

I love this place. I have been coming here for years. I was there about a month ago and they had new menus. But today was disappointing since they not open for Lunch any more. Note that they have new timings now.

The hostess was rude and the waitress was rude. I came in om a Saturday and was not greeted, pointed in the direction of the bar after saying just one, the greeter just nodded and did not say much else. After sitting for over 10 minutes, the server came by and rudely said, " just to let you know this is not considered bar seating." I had come here plenty of times before and had no clue that this was now a thing and I said I'm sorry I did not realize that becuase it had been a... The server cut me off and said its not a big deal. Her tone was rude and curt. I will not be returning ever again.

Wokcano Long Beach is open for the weekend and will be closed Monday 9/30. The restaurant has been sold.

Wokanos use to be a nice happy hour and dining experience. In the past year it has gone down hill. I don't know if it's new ownership but not only has the quality of food change but the restaurant is worn down. The bathroom had no seat covers and nasty. The new menu is confusing. And there was a live performer who was so loud I couldn't enjoy my conversation.

Horrible changes. Place use to look Cozy (lounges). Seems they took them out a added more tables looks so congested. They Changed the menu very hard to read everything is packed in there!!! Major Problems is... I had to write my own order like I'm the server then the paper doesn't have everything that's on the menu. My sever was not as attentive to us despite she didn't take our order or bring us our food. I am not use to this place like this and pray other restaurants don't serve this way.

Watch out! My family came here to have dinner. We have a credit card that we use only for dining out. We last used the credit card at this restaurant and a week later we got notifications from the credit card company that there were illegal attempts to use it at various gas stations and grocery stores in Long Beach. We have the physical card with us so someone at the restaurant took our card's information down and tried to use it locally. We don't even live in Long Beach. Was upset because I called management to let them know of this issue but they refused to contact me back. Watch out - the staff had a nice and friendly face.

Only reason for 5 stars was my spanish waiter who I know is a bus boy was doing both jobs. You could tell he was unfamiliar with being a server but did an excellent job. Host was rude but I understood she felt overwhelmed because she was helping with being a waitress. Do better wokcano and stop over working your employees!

Wokcano in Long Beach has been one of my favorite restaurants up until last week. Their service is definitely gone down hill and it was subpar. I had my birthday party here, clear expectations weren't established. We were only able to spilt the bill 4 ways, which is fine. Some odd reason, I had the majority of people's orders on my bill without being asked or included in the decision by the waitress. For example, many guests showed up early and decided to order from the bar. The bartender stated it didn't make sense for them to order from the bar. He was rude and not friendly. The waitress Jane set the expectation after that incident, that drinks and food were only made through her. The restaurant wasn't busy and should of provided assistance to Jane. There were many personalities and people to deal with. She seemed a little agitated but she pushed through and help us the best she could. The karaoke didn't have the level of availability I am use too in comparison to other Karaoke places. Many popular songs they didn't have. Michael Jackson, Rock With You, Backstreet Boys I want it that way, Jodeci, Gap Band, Spice Girls.

It seems like this place has spiralled downhill. My boyfriend and i used to come here often since it was conveniently located in DTLB which is our stomping grounds. Their happy hour was amazing with sushi and drinks at half off. Something changed on this particular day of experiencing Wokcano. It all started off with us waiting at the front desk for 9 minutes before a hostess came to seat us. Yes, i counted the minutes as well as looked around the desk for a bell i could ring. No bell. Mind you the restaurant was not packed at all on a Sunday afternoon around 1pm. When the hostess finally came we were seated in the bar area. Furniture is run down with holes in the couch and scratches on the table. I wish i had duck tape to help them out a bit with the cracks. Once seated we noticed Karaoke posters plastered all over the walls. Apparently to bring business in. they offer Karaoke in private rooms upstairs to liven the restaurant. Tacky. But hey, get that money... I asked the hostess for a happy hour menu which apparently is implemented into the normal menu all day every day and is no longer referred to as "happy hour" but "our new menu pricing." While waiting for our waiter we looked around the restaurant and noticed unattended tables with plates and trash still covered on table tops. Maybe they were understaffed so they couldn't get to the tables to wipe them down? ERRRRR... WRONG! We noticed there was more staff than customers swarming the place. Minutes later we noticed our waiter came to take our order.. we also noticed he was the bartender. We can't complain about the food as it was decent as before. I'd probably not come here again... Octopus is down the street and their food/service is wayyyy better.

Place was almost empty, service was terrible. Better choices around.
