I was there right when it opened and had the best experience, everything was perfect and definitely will be going again. For the first time everything about a place complimented everything the staff were super helpful, the food was amazing, the drinks were nice and cheap, and the atmosphere was phenomenal.

They lost our order so it took over an hour to get our order. About an hour and 15 minutes. Terrible. Waitress was terrible she did bother to check on our order. After waiting for so long the food was terrible.

Had a lovely early supper here, enjoying a Bixby Spritz, Truffle Fries (on Happy Hour menu) plus Beets & Burrata and Grilled Caesar Salads. The Grilled Caesar (added chicken) was definitely one of the best I've had, including no croutons but a generous amount of croutonish bread crumbs--even better! The vibe was cool and the service was very attentive.

Our evening at Wood & Salt wasn’t just a meal; it was a culinary journey that redefined excellence. Bart, our server, set a high standard from the moment we were seated, effortlessly surpassing our already high expectations from a previous visit. This time, Bart, the Chef, and their dedicated team didn’t just meet the bar; they raised it to new heights, making our last dining experience seem modest in comparison. From the moment we walked in, everything was flawless. The service was impeccable, the presentation of each dish was a work of art, and the flavors were nothing short of sensational—truly, off the charts. If you find yourself within a 100 miles of Wood & Salt, consider this a sign to make the trip. Trust me, you won’t be disappointed. You’re not just finding a meal; you’re discovering what might just become your new favorite Italian restaurant.

We ordered two mains and an appetizer, all absolutely drenched in oil. My bolognese was undercooked and oily, but still fairly tasty. Just not tasty enough for the price point. My boyfriend's steak was cooked and seasoned very well, but sit on a bed of frites, again, soaked in oil. I wanted to try the beets and burrata appetizer but was not notified beforehand that it was last call, so no dice. Overall decent food that's not worth the price point!

The entire staff was outstanding. They went overboard to ensure your satisfaction. A little more mashed potatoes with my meal would have been nice. ?

Incredibly understaffed, one server for the whole place while the gym rat, too pretty to work bartender admired his biceps and polished the same glasses. Food is fine, typical for what you’d expect.

The video of your staff going out onto the PUBLIC sidewalk and telling people walking by what they can/can’t do was disgusting. You couldn’t have done a better job of telling people to take their money and go elsewhere.

Birthday celebration on Sunday. Restaurant was pretty empty. Service by wait staff was good. Pork chop was burnt and extremely dry. Chicken Parmesan was overcooked. My son's pasta was cold. My daughter's burrito was cold. I could understand if they were severely busy. I'm not sure what the problem was, but given the rave reviews of this restaurant was pretty disappointed $300 plus with tip.

Had a wonderful brunch/lunch for a girlfriend's birthday and had the most amazing meal and time at Wood & Salt Tavern. I had the bolognese pasta and ohhhh boy it was delicious! The pasta was fresh and the sauce was incredible. The servers were very knowledgeable and gave recommendations for drinks. I also really liked the relaxed and modern atmosphere. Just an all around perfect restaurant!

Can't say enough good things about this fabulous restaurant. Service is friendly and knowledgeable. Meals are fantastic. Their specialty cocktails are excellent. Pasta is freshly made. Definitely great for a special occasion. They also have happy hour specials on drinks and appetizers.

First time visiting, but I will definitely be returning. I've heard nothing but good things, and now i know why. We ordered drinks, they were good but nothing to rave about. They had special limited edition drinks with good options. They also have happy hour until 6:30 pm. The deals aren't great, but at least it's a few dollars less. Now the food, that was delicious! Hand-made pasta and sauces, you can taste the freshness. We also got truffle fries, chicken and salmon dishes. All were great! I've heard they change their menu seasonally, so beware. The service was good too, not overwhelming. The place wasn't too busy since we went during the week. I definitely recommend trying it out, you won't be disappointed.

We checked in here last night for our quarterly adulting lol, Food was great and the pasta was freshly hand made, we ordered the squash blossom which was a unique appetizer for a restaurant, calamari was good too! And for the dessert, we ordered creme brulee which was so good and the pistachio cheesecake was quite a normal cheesecake that we haven't like tasted the pistachio flavor that much. Oyster was so perfect size - small size that's what we liked! And the fish too was good! But i haven't took a photo of all the dishes that we ordered we got so busy trying all the food. Service was good and it's a friday night and it was busy. and ambiance was cozy and and casual. This was our second time here. Definitely will come back and recommend.
