The food is good but the service leaves a lot to be desired and it's been this way since it opened. Tons of staff but they don't seem to know how to prioritize tasks nor deal with customers. The other Zankou locations don't have this issue

40yrs back I visited the 1st Zankou chicken joint in Hollywood. 40yrs later food is great true to taste! Best ever beats all others especially the garlic dip! Nothing has changed except the price up by 400%!

I give this place on account of how much of a mediterranean snob I can be. Nevertheless the food is exceptionally seasoned and cooked with professional and friendly staff. The environment is clean and orderly with a nice music playlist subtlety playing in the background. I absolutely love the garlic sauce but love the spicy salsa even more - wow! Must try. The chicken and steak kabobs were juicy, but I feel the chicken could've been crispier out of personal preference. The baklava was great despite my preference for more honey. Overall I loved it and will be returning!

The food is great, especially the chicken tarna and the lule kebab. However at this location, the atmosphere is grungy. They've installed better lighting recently to brighten it up, but every time I come in, the floors are visibly grimy, and the overall atmosphere is still somehow dim. Service is generally good, but twice now I haven't been able to get iced tea 45 minutes before closing time because the staff is trying to get a jump on closing duties and has dumped out the pots. Disappointing.
