Wow!! The entire staff was so helpful and friendly! Evan the owner was so welcoming. Eggs were prepared perfectly, I know raving about scrambled eggs but honestly velvety smooth with a flaky salt finish. We ordered the chicken and waffles which were Absolutely incredible!

Zuzu’s Petals in Long Beach has become one of the most recognizable places for teenagers who care about style, atmosphere, and a sense of community. The environment blends classic Long Beach skate culture with the bright, expressive energy often associated with modern Valley Girl trends. You see it in the mix of oversized cargo pants, carefully styled tops, and the way teens of all genders comfortably share the same space. The appeal comes from how effortless it feels; nothing about the scene tries too hard, which is exactly why it resonates so strongly with today’s youth.

It is easy to recommend this spot to teenagers because it reflects what many of them value right now: authenticity, individuality, and a social setting that feels both relaxed and expressive. Both the more laid‑back teens and the ones who enjoy a polished, high‑energy aesthetic find something that fits them.

Even the outdoor seating contributes to the experience. The natural light creates an uplifting atmosphere that many teens appreciate, especially in a culture where mood, presentation, and well‑being matter. It supports the current preference for looking “natural” while still embracing a sense of flair. For teenagers who enjoy being understated yet still visually intentional, it becomes an ideal place to meet friends, enjoy food, and feel part of a larger social rhythm.

A quite street side Cafe in Long Beach with breakfast and lunch options. The place is cozy and has a warm vibe. Staff is friendly and food is delicious. They do run out of certain food items so the earlier you go the better.

We had breakfast here as a group of four. The food was beautifully presented – perfect for Instagram shots. Taste-wise, it wasn’t outstanding, but decent by American standards.

The most rude staff I’ve encountered in my life. Also I am 7 months pregnant and there was no wet floor sign and I fell badly at this restaurant today and am now using crutches to walk.

I have to give this place a perfect score in all categories, although it’s in a humble location and it’s small they have excelled at making food and beverages taste great and satisfying.
I love how they don’t have pesky waiters and the ordering process is fast casual.
No pretense just great food and service.
As far as pricing goes... food of this quality in a normal classy restaurant would easily cost twice as much, my wife and I will definitely be dining here again soon.

Great atmosphere with a genuinely happy vibe throughout. The servers were attentive and welcoming. The baked goods were surprisingly good—definitely didn’t taste like day-old, grocery-store pastries. There were plenty of seating options, and it wasn’t overly crowded. We ordered the sweet potato pancakes, which did not disappoint—such a unique idea and executed perfectly. The breakfast burrito listed four eggs, which instantly sold me, and wow—it was massive!
