My partner and I got brunch at Zuzu's on 09/01. We ordered the Chicken & Waffles, the BLTA, and the seasonal fruit (& coffee). About $75 after tax and tip. The wait was about 30 minutes to get in the door but the service and atmosphere were both good. Unfortunately, the food was a bit underwhelming. The BLTA was served on stale bread and the bacon had been cooked and left to get cold, congealed. The chicken and waffles actually had great flavors, and while the chicken was flawless, the waffle was totally soaked by the copious amount of compound butter that had been served with it (but arrived totally melted), so the waffle was very soggy. The fruit side was so-so, and maybe a touch overpriced at $9 for the quantity.

This place is great! Food qas delicious presentation is awesome. My family found it and go maybe twice a month. I hear coffee and drinks are great. There is a line to get in on weekends just fyi. Enjoy!

I've had their chicken and waffles, and it was delicious!!!! Today i tried the loaded breakfast burrito and it was also delicious, I will order double protein. One of the staff members let me know they were remaking my burrito because they forgot to put avocado on it which was really kind of them, and also offered me a beverage on the house while I waited which was really kind and appreciated. I ate the burrito while omw to workout and it was delicious! My price was high because I got all the protein and avocado. Otherwise it would have been $18+tax and tip

Always a favorite when I visit Long Beach. Nestled in a cute neighborhood, fresh food, great coffee. Good vegetarian options.
Fantastic we came here on a trip from Utah and when we come back this place is at the top of the list for brunch spots I had the skillet and it was phenomenal the avocado crema was such a good touch and I loved the soft scrambled eggs.
