Butter + Cream Bakery

Tried B+C after recommendation from my friend. I got their vanilla, chocolate cupcakes along with a slice of confetti cake.
The cake is super subtle in flavour. Icing is simple and good, but the cake could be more moist. Cupcakes are flavourful.

Ordered a cake for sons proposal and last minute cupcakes to go with it. Cake and cupcakes were delicious.

I can’t say enough good things about this bakery! They’ve been nailing my custom birthday cakes and every single one has been an absolute masterpiece. Not only are the designs always beautiful but also tasty!

Sad this bakery has gone down the drain...no Princess Torte cake or slices even available...after 25 years of the best Princess Torte now I cant get one unless you order 5 days in advance....Who is the new owner??? And staff is rude to boot...

Butter+Cream made my dream wedding cake come to life—it was absolutely stunning and exactly how I had envisioned it! One challenge with beautiful wedding cakes is that they often taste stale or dry, but that was not the case here. Dessert is incredibly important to me, and choosing the right bakery was at the top of my wedding planning priorities. This cake not only looked amazing but tasted even better—1000% better than it looked, if that's even possible!

The cappuccino mousse chip marble flavor is now my absolute favorite, and I’m so glad I discovered this bakery. We took the top tier home and savored it over the next week. While my new marriage brought me immense happiness, we couldn’t help but feel a little sad when the cake was gone. It was that good!

This place is a really a gem! I’m impressed with the cake design and taste. We have ordered cake for gender reveal party and all of our guest thoroughly enjoyed it. The price point was decent as well! Would definitely recommend this place and come back here again for future orders 😊

The service was really great. They have good options. They are knowledgeable and patient. The store is beautiful and tempting. Looking at thier cake designs gave me plenty of future ideas. The cake we got was a blue velvet and it was delicious! Well worth it.

I never ordered a custom cake but did my fair share of pre-ordering and same-day purchases of their standard cakes. While the frosting is superior, the cake flavor itself is on par with what you can get at a grocery store bakery— which in my opinion is not bad, just nothing special. I viewed the B+C cakes as a prettier alternative with the potential to elevate any occasion just on their looks alone.

My family always requested the marble, but my personal favorite was the blue velvet. We’ve also ordered the confetti cake and it was also good, just a tad too sweet. But the red velvet was a huge disappointment. It was overly sweet and the cake part tasted like flavorless raw dough (even though it’s thoroughly cooked) with heavy notes of food coloring.

While ordering a marble cake for a friend’s baby shower, I asked if I could just have it plain, without the chocolate drizzle that’s usually around the edge. They said there would be a surcharge to *not* put it on. I can’t remember how much, but it wasn’t just a couple dollars… maybe like $10? Seriously?? I didn’t understand the logic since that would have been less time and ingredients spent on my cake. Seemed excessive and kind of petty to me.

The folks working the front counter are not rude, but not friendly either. My husband, who is the most chill and non-dramatic person, even commented on that. So after the marble cake surcharge incident, I decided to take my business to Katella Deli. They have more cake flavor options and are comparable in price.
