One of the worst breakfast sandwiches in the area...I got two...sausage and egg one (not like no egg ever known) & something had ham and sausage..ham was sandwich slice kind..cheese on both was horrible. I was trying to go to Wendy's at 6:30 am on a Tuesday. No one came to drive thru...forced to go to Jack's. Did me bad 😔

This place is so shady. I drove 30 minutes to find a Jack-in-the-Box that was open after 2 AM only for the guy to tell me that they only accept cash and he sounded so shady on why he would only accept cash such a bummer. I feel like they always say that when they wanna just pocket themoney at night and I didn’t have cash otherwise I would’ve just paid, but I wasn’t gonna go to the ATM machine and then drive back to get food here.

Boooooo I just got home after going thru drive-thru, and there’s cheese on my spicy chicken sandwich.

When they asked if I wanted cheese I responded with “NO, NO CHEESE” smh

To top it all off the fries were sad and lukewarm, and I received no receipt of course.

It’s almost 3a, they were omw home so I’m not going to drive all the way back for a refund but

BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO what a waste! My stomach hurts thanks to the effing cheese mistake!!

Long time Google user, long time Jack in the Box customer. Never have I received such poor customer service and hospitality, multiple times in a single visit. Thus prompting me to finally write a review.

On 18 April 2025, I ordered via app, went through the drive through where the store manager (SM) told me to wait in the front of the store. He said he'd bring the food to me when it was ready. Note, the app said 10 minutes, though given how slow the workday was, I assumed it'd be faster. I was with my kid who I thought I'd only have to distract for 10 minutes max. I waited over 20 minutes seeing a couple new customers come and go, so I decided to check in the store. I brought my kid in and asked about the food, only for the SM to realize the food has been waiting near the drive through counter. He didn't say sorry and just handed me the food. I asked what was with the poor customer service to which he eventually said sorry for, but didn't say anything beyond that.

I took the food and went home, only realizing then that the order was incorrect. Not only was the food late, cold, but it also had missing items. I went back to the store and explained this to the SM. He didn't say sorry, but rather he instantly said he put the order in correctly. I knew that was a lie so I told him, feel free to check the CCTV. I tried calling the number on a store sign about customer service which isn't even working. I explained this to the SM who said it works too. I called in front of him to show it doesn't.

Not sure what's wrong with this store and SM, but they don't want to admit they're wrong even when it's clear as day. He eventually redid my order, but the damage is done. This SM tarnished this franchise's reputation.

This place always has a excuse why they can't take a order at night . Also it seems like they just close the drive through randomly.

This is the best Jack’s in SoCal. The employees always go out of their way to top the experience and quality compared to any other Jack-in-the-Box. We asked for a fresh brew of coffee at 9pm for 3 large coffees to accompany our meals. Their coffee is better than any coffee chain. They were excellent and the food was fresh as always. I would travel 20 mins from another city just to go to this exceptional location in Los Alamitos. People from the 562 know this Jack’s has no equal. Thank you again.

Chicken Wraps were so delicious!!! Fries, fresh & crispy. Hubby loved the onion rings. Drive thru staff very polite.

I have eaten hear a few times over the past 24 months and never been disappointed. The place is clean and well maintained. The food fresh and taste very good. The Customer service excellent. I feel you definitely get bang for the buck when it comes to cost vs food quality and quantity. There is plenty of parking on site, but I wish the parking lot was connected to the main shopping outlet, but I guess you can’t have it all. I am definitely a repeat customer at this Jack-in-the-Box.

Cashier had a bad attitude he took my order not even asking how can I help you he was just standing there waiting for me to say anything as soon as my order was ready he just placed my burger on the counter not even saying my order was ready I had to go and check the bag and verify that indeed was my order
