the coffee and food were wonderful. The staff and environment inside are delightful. Maybe avoid the gathering of overgrown boys who congregate outside to yell about politics, but the place itself is beautiful

Love this place & coffee, but every time I come they are not friendly at all. I even recommend to family and friends & they say the same thing.

Well-designed and comfortable, welcoming design with lots of tables and chairs, nice background music. My latte was delicious, and the avocado toast scrumptious. My family and I had an enjoyable experience at Local Grind and will return many times!

This place is huuuuge! Such a nice open space for people to study or hangout. It’s crazy cuz I never order pumpkin spice lattes but I decided to give it a try here and wowowow I enjoyed it so much! I asked for it half sweetned and loved it!

Solid coffee shop - the atmosphere was nice and plenty of seating, parking, etc. Had the cold brew and it was… good. Nothing to write home about, but nothing to complain about either.

The Local Grind in Los Alamitos is beautiful! Big windows and high ceilings, lots of natural wood, and green plants. I tried the “562” which is iced coffee, vanilla and cream - I love it! Plus all the coffee is certified organic, and it costs less than Starbucks. Wow I am impressed and I will definitely be back!

Place wasn’t even open during their hours of operation without a sign on their door or anything

I have to say, I’m a sucker for local coffee shops. They always have that unique charm that you just can’t find at the big chain places. Local Grind is a gem in a sea of corporate coffee joints. It’s a rare find in my area, where coffee shops seem to come and go faster than a Spirit Halloween store.

Located conveniently across the street from our hotel, Fairfield Inn, Local Grind was the perfect spot for our morning coffee fix. We ordered a hot chocolate, the OG funky monkey, a Mocha, and a Sunrise. Each drink had its own special flavor that set it apart from the rest.

The staff was incredibly friendly and quick to whip up our drinks. They even took the time to ask if we had any questions about the menu. Plus, they use nugget ice, which is a personal favorite of mine. I even have the same ice maker at home!

I was pleasantly surprised to find a little store area inside the shop. Unfortunately, they didn’t have any men’s shirts for sale. I would have loved to grab one for myself and the boys, but I don’t think a half shirt would be very flattering on me.

If you’re looking to avoid the major coffee chains and support a local business, I highly recommend stopping by Local Grind. It’s the perfect spot for a delicious cup of coffee with a side of small-town charm.

First off, my family and I really like this place and have frequently been going since they opened the Los Al location. Today I went to pick up an online order of 2 small drinks and 2 bagels with cream cheese. It took over 45 minutes. When I arrived there were about 15 people waiting for food or drinks and waiting to order. They only had 2 staff total. The staff here I always awesome. No knock on them. They are just severely understaffed. No fair to the staff who are extremely stressed trying to manage everything with 2 people.

They are a bit pricey, but I prefer to spend my money at a local establishment than to spend at huge corporations like Starbucks. They need to get more help or we will not be going here anymore. 45 minutes for a max 10 minute order won’t cut it.

Absolutely delighted to share my experience at Local Grind in Los Alamitos! From the moment I stepped in, the warm and inviting atmosphere and friendly staff. It's clear they've put a lot of thought into creating an environment that's not just about enjoying a great cup of coffee, but also about feeling welcome.

Let's talk about the breakfast sandwiches - they're nothing short of amazing. It's often a challenge to find delicious gluten-free options that don't compromise on taste or texture, but Local Grind has managed to do just that. Their inclusive menu ensures that everyone can enjoy a satisfying breakfast, regardless of dietary restrictions.

In summary, Local Grind is a gem in Los Alamitos, offering not just great coffee and food, but also a welcoming space to start your day or have a meeting with clients. Highly recommend!

Dietary restrictions: Gluten Free English Muffin to make a breakfast sandwich.

Making this my go to stop whilst staying close by for the next couple of days!
Beautiful setup, and equally amazing staff! So super friendly and patient with all my questions and indecisiveness!
Ended up going for their current special 'Mint Mocha Jolt', and was not disappointed in the slightest! So glad I went for the largest size!
Looking forward to my next visit!
