The food was excellent and our server was very sweet and helpful! I overheard when someone near us complained to the manager about slow service (it wasn't, he was clearly just hungry) that she was covering most of the tables. She was still excellent and her "C Game" was still better than most servers on their "A Game". The BBQ plate with tri-tip and two types of ribs was phenomenal. The loaded baked potato was awesome and the garlic & feta spinach was a great suggestion from our server. This place also supports our Veterans and those currently serving in the military, which is always a plus in my book.

We went to Maderas a couple of years ago and had a wonderful experience. We decided to go back tonight and unfortunately we had the opposite experience. The waitress was either overbooked or not good, but regardless we paid the price. It took a long time to serve us and when we needed something it took forever to get ( Refills...etc). When the food came the mashed sweet potatoes was cold, so I told her and she brought out a side of sweet potatoes and it was also cold. I understand everyone has an off night, but we paid good money for our meal and was disappointed to say the least. Not sure if we go back.

I have been wanting to try this place for a long time and kept bothering my wife about it I finally got to go for my birthday and all I can say is everything that a party of 4loved it! The Prime Rib was great, the Mac and Cheese was to die for! My friend had the perfect Ribeye and I found a new favorite Steak House! Can't wait to try their burgers!!!

Invited some Soldiers to lunch and they recommended Maderas. Tried the French steak and it's really super solid. Also ordered the onion brick that we shared and it's pretty awesome too. I honestly was quite pleased with the food here.

Baby back and beef ribs were good. Spare ribs were dry. Prime rib was good. Filet Oscar was okay. Disappointed by the sides (mac n cheese, corn fritters, mashed potatoes). Complimentary bread was warm and soft. Glad we tried it but would not come back.

Let me start by saying Maderas was a date night go to. We loved the food and the drinks. However, the past 4-5 visits there is an inconsistency on the meat quality and there has also been an accuracy problem. The meat is thinner and not as juicy as before. The meat doesn't fall off the bone like it used to. The sandwich that stated it came with bacon and avocado was missing . This happened twice back to back. The staff is polite a majority of the time. The appetizers are always a hit. We are disappointed that we have to find a new spot.

First night @ Los Alamitos for college tours and we spotted this on the way to our hotel. The hub called and made reservations. As we walked in, we were greeted with a live 2-person band. Nice ambiance. Food and service was good.

I wanted to enjoy this place as we came here to celebrate a post-Father's Day dinner but there were a few things that left a sour taste in my mouth. We made reservations for a Monday night and were seated promptly. After being seated, it took a while for anyone to come by and acknowledge us which became a theme throughout the night. When our waitress finally showed up, we ordered some drinks and we again waited for a while. We started getting hungry and I saw some bread being served to other tables so I asked a hostess walking by about it and rather than helping us out, she said to ask our server about it. Drinks come, we order food, and again we wait. Food comes, but there's no follow up whether steak was cooked right or if we needed anything else. After we finished, we decided on dessert. Ordered the ice cream with berries and fresh cream. It took 35 minutes for the dessert to come out. While we waited we regretted ordering dessert and should've just asked for the check instead. The dessert looked like something that would be served at a cafeteria. Small, mediocre quality of ice cream served in a small bowl. No fresh cream. It took time again for the check to arrive, and after we paid, waitress just said "here you go" and walked away. No thank you, no nothing. We paid quite a bit of money for what was supposed to be a nice dinner and service just fell short. The food was pretty good....I will give them credit for that. Steak was cooked nicely and everything else was tasty. I think management should review their practices and perhaps retrain their wait staff to offer better service. Ask patrons if it's their first time dining or not (it was out first time and probably our last). Have hostesses help with tasks like bringing bread, refilling waters, cleaning tables, etc. It would help make things more tidy, efficient, and help the overall pacing.

Came to this Steakhouse to celebrate my mom's birthday and had a wonderful dining experience! Love the cozy ambiance with live music. We got the caesar salad, baby back ribs, and bbq plate which comes with sides you can choose from. We got garlic mashed potatoes, cole slaw, sweet potato fresn, and mac and cheese. Their baby back ribs were tender and soft. Get extra bbq sauce! The BBQ plate is perfect if you want a bit of everything: tri-tip, baby back ribs, and beef rib. Such good sharing portions for affordable prices! The service here was also friendly and fast! Our waitress was very nice and got us everything we wanted. Overall, a local affordable steakhouse. Also, loved their strawberry cheesecake! They made my mom's birthday celebration special with the cheesecake surprise and live birthday music.

Came here on a Saturday before Father's Day during lunchtime, not crowded yet, took them about ten minutes to take our orders. After that , everything went smooth. Our waitstaff came by numerous times to check on us and refill our water. Food was excellent, we all got steaks and all came out the way we ordered them. Plates came with two side dishes also. Ambience is very welcoming. I just wish they'll give more bread without charging extra. All in all...I recommend this place. Will come back again

This place has some of the most tastiest rib eyes!!! Been here twice and had the rib eye and it was super juicy and flavorful, it needed nothing else and it was perfectly cooked. Pair that with their garlic mashed potatoes and corn fritters *chefs kiss* you won't be disappointed. Our service was wonderful, thank you Rhonda! She was attentive and friendly. Definitely try the alcoholic strawberry lemonade as well it's so delicious I forgot it was alcohol and drank it like I'd been in the dessert for 8482373 years. Let's also not forget their amazing strawberry cheesecake, ummmm yes please! Must try!

I had a wonderful time yesterday thanks to Jenna and Mario! She offered excellent recommendations, was exceptionally kind (even with a grouchy nearby guest), and helped make our dinner a memorable one. Mario was equally attentive and friendly. We enjoyed the ribs most of all, the vegetables, cheesecake, and margaritas. The macaroni and cheese was overcooked and had too much liquid but we easily overlooked it because of the great service from Jenna and Mario. Thank you for a great dinner and I hope to visit again soon!
