Great food and good portions. The staff is friendly and attentive. There is plenty of TVs inside with a variety of sports games.Prior to Covid this place was usually packed with long (but worth it) wait times and very limited parking. The parking is still limited, but there were very few people there on a Saturday morning at breakfast.
The picture is loaded biusquet skillet. It has bacon, eggs how you like it, biusquets, gravy, cheese and fried chicken. It's really really good! Great comfort food they have. Big portions as well. I could have easily shared it with someone else. It's not super cheap or super expensive kinda in the middle. Breakfast all day. The staff is great as well!
Excellent service and Great food!
Had not been to this location to eat up until my buddy told me about it. We went for dinner recently. It was packed & waited about 40 minutes to sit. So I had a Thrifty ice cream to hold me over. It has a lively atmosphere with tvs behind a packed bar. The menu is extensive so there is something for everyone. Food was good and my rootbeer float was filling.
Good food, great environment but consistency extremely slow service. 20 minutes since I ordered my drink at dinner table and still hasn't arrived. Typical 10-15 mins before initial approach, which is horrible. Staff are caring but seems to have their sections are too large are far apart. Have been here over 10 times due to proximity to my home and good menu and each and everytime has had horrible waits to take order, then waits to refresh drinks then to get food then to get check to leave. Would only recommend this place if you have 2 hours to kill on a meal that should be 40-50 mins.
Great food & service- Alex was a great server
Excellent food, Wonderful daily happy hour!! I just wish the mac was baked, but other than that delicious!
I come regularly to Mama's and the staff here is always so welcoming and kind. Tonight my waitress Noel went above and beyond helping us decide what to eat. My burger was cooked perfectly and the Buffalo Cauliflower was to die for. The best part is the Thrifty ice cream to finish off the meal. I highly recommend Mama's and if you get Noel at a waitress you won't be disappointed. I would give them 6 stars if i could!
Prime rib was amazing best steak An eggs I've ever had. Great coffee as well. Also had the biscuits and gravy. It was okay. Not enough flavor or season.
Always a pleasure eating here. Great food.
I'm addicted to mamas Buffalo cauliflower it is the best I have ever had. I crave it all the time. The Buffalo cauliflower is on the happy hour menu too. The staff is always so cheerful and polite they all have a welcoming personality. Mamas knows what they are doing they normally have a wait so be patient it's worth it
Had a bit higher expectation of this place because of the good reviews and the creative menu, but the food although adequate, didn't quite meet the expectations. Service was great and the restaurant is nice, new, and clean. However the food is very much diner style, and it wasn't elevated to match the price they charge. Probably a great place to hang out with a group of friends for their large format drink survivals like 30+ oz bloody Mary and bottomless mimosa.
The food was absolutely amazing, the fish and chips are by far my favorite thing we ordered with the light batter, fresh flakey fish and it was piping hot coming out. I would also highly recommend the cauliflower wings, and the Monster burger... The burger was huge, fit for any big appetite and was packed with meat, cheese, pulled pork, and onion rings. The regular wings were underwhelming as I've had much better for cheaper, and the lobster Alfredo was delicious. The only other thing I had a problem with was the cleanliness of the side plates for sharing as they were not cleaned properly and still had food crusted on them... All and all I would definitely return for the food, just make sure you have clean plates!
Hmmmm the food is nothing exciting. Pretty bland. Ordered a Bloody Mary and it was all tomato juice with basically a salad on top(eye roll). The service is very basic or less. They still have a paper sign in sheet with no text available so you have to wait at the door to make sure you dont miss them calling you. Weird for the neighborhood this place is in. The waitress only came around to take orders and to drop off drinks, didn't really check in to make sure we didn't need anything. Why 2 stars ? Not mean enough to give them 1.
EXCUSE ME! The McDowell's Fish Sandwich was AMAZING! I like Mama's. Love their nachos, spaghetti squash, tacos, whatever. The McDowell's Fish Sandwich caught my attention because of their name (love that movie!) and it was so so good. I can't wait to go back and order it again. I did order it without coleslaw just for authenticity, I wanted that specific taste if you know what I'm talking about. Sure, it fell apart after a little while but I did not care I'm telling you. If you see this on the menu and are in the mood, don't hesitate. It's fresh fried fish, a soft bun, that delicious processed cheese, and tartar sauce. Can't go wrong! I had to create a whole review about it because I loved it that much. In fact, I am going this weekend to get it.
