Pasty Kitchen is One of my All time Favorite places to grab a quick delicious Meal. HOWEVER, I have a problem with a young male employee of Pasty Kitchen who is usually stationed at the order counter. He takes the orders handling dirty cash money and then without washing his hands or using the sanitizer (that is usually sitting on the service counter) he proceeds to prepare the orders and touches the ladle to pour gravy in the small gravy cups, he touches the rim of the cups as he is filling the cups with gravy. if customer orders a cookie, the young man handles the wax paper to acquire the cookie with unwashed hands, and then he proceeds to the pie oven and places the pies in the pie wrapping paper with unwashed hands that he handled filthy cash money with (everyone knows how dirty money is after it has been passed from person to person!) And when I confronted the young man about his unkosher practices he ignored me and acted as if he couldn't care less about what I was saying! So let the buyer beware at Pasty Kitchen!!!

I found the place by luck. I had a flat tire at the dentist behind and got hungry while waiting for the tow truck. Amiable customer service. The pastry with the beef and vegetables was delicious, and the potato salad was delicious. All that food for 10 dollars is pretty good. I definitely will stop by when in the area.

Very basic. I tried the chicken, beef, and the seasonal corned beef with cabbage. The latter was the better of them. I also had a stale apple turnover. There's parking in the back as well as street parking right up front. They are not cash only. I paid with card. They have a window where you can watch them prepare the food from outside. There's room for two customers. One to order and one to wait for their food. There's outdoor seating available.

Well, after living in Southern California the majority of my life, I visited for the first time a few days ago. The staff were all very nice, but the pasty wasn't so great. My friend and I chose the beef. Unfortunately, it was lacking seasoning...super bland. The crust was outstanding, but I wanted that savory flavor inside. I will probably give them another chance, but it wasn't anything to write home about. Prices are quite reasonable.

Inquired and found out the original ownership that ran nearly 60 yrs. is no longer. New owner bought about a year ago. Obviously, all too often when that occurs, things can take a severe downswing. I'm happy to report, it appears the new owner's intent is to not do stuff too radically different. Good Thing ?Parking: Kinda limited amount of slotsBack of buildingKid-friendliness: Entire customer area inside encompasses maybe a 5 ft. by 9 ft. standing area at the register. However families with children can hangout at a few outside tables. Not bad
