I ordered the fried chicken with garlic mashed potatoes and it was as some have said better than homemade. My late husband was a fantastic cook and this was as good or better chicken then he would have made. The apple fritters were good and I appreciate that they were served with butter. I came in by mind usually don't get the best of service but I was pleasantly surprised! Will return and try some of the dinner items as I bet their soup is amazing as well!

Love the garden 🏡 style. The koi fish pond is so nice. The food was delicious 😋. My salad was an interesting creation, right from a wedged of iceberg lettuce 🥬.

It was fun walking through the shops afterwards and admiring all the creations of local artists.

Although the quaint, simply appointed, beamed-raftered and hardwood-floored inside dining room would be the right place to dine on the right night, al fresco is the place to be: a large patio, naturally shaded by stately old trees, a bridge between two ponds, Tom-Sawyerish fishermen statues tempting real Koi in the ponds below. The restaurant’s full name is Shenandoah at the Arbor. Webster’s defines ‘arbor’ as “a shelter of vines or branches.”...
