The food: I order carne asada and my friend ordered fish tacos. They were both delicious and cooked to perfection. My steak was tasty and tender. It was not dry and it was huge. The fish taco was crispy on the outside and juicy inside. I love love their salsa. It tasted like it was homemade.
The service was fast. We got our food no more than 10 mins. And it was served hot.
The Ambiance is a party vibe and so very colorful inside. It’s clean. The price is not too bad. We spent no more than $60 for the both of us.

This used to be my go-to place for quick and tasty food but not anymore. Today we ordered taquitos, one hard shell taco, and a side of chicken for delivery. Unfortunately the side of chicken had a bug, maybe a fly or a bee, smashed in between the container and the lid and this thing was pretty big, but we didn't notice until after eating most of the other food which made us both feel sick just thinking about other possible bugs in the food we did eat. Picture attached is the lid from the side of chicken.

Birria tacos were delicious, but the fish plate was not very good. It did not taste fresh. They only serve margaritas with wine agave, not tequila. Our waiter kept getting distracted and forgot about us a few times. The sunset beach location is much better for food and service.

Standard good Mexican food. Nothing particularly special but definitely hits the spot. Good margaritas. Great atmosphere. Super nice staff a good local Mexican joint.

The place seems great, but the bartender was rude when picking up my online order. I did not check it because I assumed they did their job, which i guess is my fault. However, two of my items were missing when I got home, and when I called, they basically called me a lair. As much as I would like to go back, I will not.
Birria tacos are amazing, was really busy and the staff is great filling salsa and drinks immediately. Props to them for dealing with 6 children sitting at the bar even sitting on the counter and their parents not controlling these kids, starting to tip the barstools standing on the back made us anxious. Other than that the atmosphere was great and not too loud.

I finally found a wet burrito I like. Well..... more like a wet chimichanga burrito with carne asada. Same difference. Carne asada is extra which is oddly strange. It's Mexican food. Why would you charge extra for carne asada? My chimichanga was a hefty size and delicious. Could use more meat though. Got it to go with churros dessert. Some of churro pieces were hard, but I ate it anyways.
Went back later and tried the chicken taquitos. They were tasty. A little pricey for Mexican American food. Decor inside is cute
Always a great spot to eat. Love the food and staff.

My friends recommended Taco Surf for years, but I never had a convenient time to go. I had to take my nephew and niece somewhere, and we ended up at Taco Surf.
The food was delicious. Everyone was pleased with their food, and the carnitas were fresh and excellent. I like them a bit crunchy, but these were not. They were very fresh and seemed low fat and healthy. I was thrilled.
Another plus is Katella Deli is very close, so we went there to pick up a variety of cake slices to share for dessert.
