I've been to other Whole Foods in the bay area; this one has a smoking problem even though Whole Foods claims they are a no smoking zone. There are smokers in front of the store, in the outside seating area (before COVID), and in the underground parking area.

CORONAVIRUS UPDATE Overall, this Whole Foods feels safe to shop at. I went on a Sunday around 5PM. There was a line that formed outside the store with X taped every 6 ft. apart to ensure social distancing. A Whole Foods employee stands at the door to control traffic in/out so the store doesn't get overcrowded. Once inside, it felt spacious enough to be 6 ft. apart from people. However, small aisles and the frozen section are usually more packed with people, so I just waited until they cleared out. A good amount of people wore masks, and some wore gloves. They don't let you bring your own reusable grocery bags--you must purchase paper bags. There were lots of fresh produce and most food items were still in stock. But here's a picture of the tragic chocolate section. Compared to a Whole Foods I went to in SF last week, this one had more items in stock like hand soap. It was also less cramped than the one in SF (the SF one wasn't regulated too well). Stay safe, healthy, and positive everyone! And a big thank you to grocery store workers!!

By far the best WF in the south bay. The tap room has an extensive selection, the coffee bar has a wide variety of options, and I had a korean fried chicken sandwich that is in contention if not better than popeye's and chick ...

Pretty decent store. With this covid 19, it has made shopping an in and out experience. Not too much to choose from. Shelves were bare, but the salmon was the best!! I will probably try this location again after this whole thing blows over.

The food and groceries selection here is amazing. But the customer service experience here is so disappointing every time! The cashiers often do not know the produce in order to type in the codes and I've had tomatoes charged as husked tomatillos before. The checkout process is slow as molasses and when I bag my own groceries I'm always waiting for the next item to be scanned so I can put it in my bag. I've been in the middle of bagging my own groceries (which I don't mind!) while other baggers and cashiers are standing around chit chatting. Have never received feedback for my bagging help. In contrast, at Trader Joe's, the cashiers are ultra fast and efficient and always cheerfully thank me for bagging! At TJs, employees are working hard, having fun, and their sense of camaraderie includes the shoppers. It makes a huge difference!

The people who word at this location are pretty helpful and nice. I enjoy coming to this location because it has a little bigger area for eating than the Willow Glen Whole Foods. It also has a nice enviornment. I would recommend coming and shopping here.

I am not sure what to think?? Well lets see, when it first opened I was elated. After all, another Whole foods in the Peninsula outside of Palo Alto, Redwood City and San Mateo. So that said, this may be a bit more convenient and quicker to get to given where I live. So for those of us in Los Altos/ Mountain View and even S Palo Alto, this is a great location. So back to when it first opened ( is your mind slipping Joey?) :) it was wonderful..what has happened? Well just from observation what I really like is the selections and the health items in their health section. What I dislike is some of the employees that have an arrogance to them, as if they are doing you a big favor! Another issue is that I have noticed while in line the checkers sometimes are holding conversations with other checkers and baggers and ignoring the customers, I have seen this now on 3 occasions and it is bothersome. You do not see this with the older workers..management this is really not cool. It seems the other Whole Food locations such as PA, RWC, San Mateo and even in the South like Cupertino have much better customer service. You would do yourself a world of good in this store if you were more tuned into this. This will take away from the customer experience.

The variety of vegan options are amazing here. All organic produce is perfect. The only complaint I have is that they are a bit pricey.

Most of the staff here is rude. I work at a hotel down the road and we always have to come here for guest groceries. When my manager came here it was her first time ever and the employees always told her the wrong aisle or they had no idea what the item was. When trying to find certain items the workers always seem bothered when you ask. Whole Foods is also known for being super overpriced since it's "healthy". 2 sushi containers, 3 cookie bags, 4 juices, and 7 ice creams came out to be $120. I rarely come here for myself, I rather go to Trader Joe's.

Wow wonderful self checkout option but Filipino lady with glasses/brown highlights in her hair shoulder length EVERY time I come here she looks at me like I'm a f'n criminal lmfao while I was ringing up she was MUGGING me down n staring at me very carefully mind you I'm the only nonwhite person checking out, and while I sit down to eat my lunch i just paid for she keeps pacing around my area staring at me carefully like I did something wrong. She's also very physically affectionate and touchy with her coworkers but I never see her do anything other than stare at me and be rude when I come here.

This is one of the places to go to when you are either looking for an item that is not readily available at the "big" supermarkets or if you want pick up a variety of hot foods. The underground parking is large enough no matter how crowded they get. The only issue that I had was during my last visit there. I ordered a tuna sandwich and the person helping me did not know what was supposed to go into it!

The seafood department is incredibly condescending and rude. Would not recommend until they retrain the staff.

Below are some important details for visitors This surely is one of the larger Whole Foods chains and has 2 levels of parking plus a limited outdoor parking space. It's important to note that it's mighty crowded to visit here on Sundays but not as much crowded on Saturday evenings. [I've typically seen this place to run out of Lactose Free milk and fruits by Saturday evenings :-)] You might find the fruits and vegetables [especially the organic ones] to be priced a bit higher than the other outlets but then again that's always been the case with Whole Foods. None the less, the service has been top notch fantastic, the staff has always been kind and helpful and self-checkout tends to save a lot of time [plus always perks for a prime member]
