The quality of this place has degraded. They have a bunch of kids working at servers who are busy in their own world. You’ll have to wait for anyone to come take your order. Even after repeating the order twice, the server messed up our order. Ended up getting charged for something we didn’t order.

Unapologetically slow, and then the Gold latte was undrinkable as the turmeric were big pieces... completely different experience from the really nice bluestone lane in SF. :/

I went on a Sunday for brunch. The place was full and had a very cozy atmosphere. I was able to get a table in the shade. The service was very good—my waitress was friendly and the food arrived on time. The coffee was delicious.

The only thing I would’ve liked was to add a salad, since my prosciutto sandwich was too salty and the chips didn’t balance out the saltiness well. I would definitely go back to try more from their menu and some of the drinks that also caught my attention.

The food is delicious, the service is quick and the atmosphere is lovely.

Very nice staff, great place.

Great vibe, nice food and coffee.
Avo toast with salmon was wonderful.
The service with ok, but not outstanding: we had to wait for water, nobody checked in on how we are doing till we asked the bill.

To the owner of this café: Please read this. Things are going downhill — fast.

I used to love this café. I recommended it to everyone. But over the past few visits, things have become so frustrating that today might be our last.

1. The Wobbly Table – Everyone Knows, No One Cares

We were seated at a very shaky table in the back of the patio. It wobbled badly every time someone moved. When we asked our server to fix it, we were told:

“That’s just how it is, it can’t be fixed.”

Seriously? Everyone seems to know about this table — but no one cares enough to do anything. We even spilled our coffee because of it. For a café of this size, not having stable tables is ridiculous.

2. Staff That Doesn’t Care

The staff used to be helpful — now, it feels like a bunch of untrained, uninterested teens are running the place. They’re inattentive, careless, and seem completely disconnected from what good service means.
• We tried to order juice – “We don’t serve juice anymore.”
→ Then update your menu!
• We switched to smoothies – after 15 minutes, they told us there’s no orange juice.
• We ordered coffee and dessert after the meal. Coffees came, but dessert took 30+ minutes and only came after I went inside to ask.
• When the server brought it, it was a tiny brownie in a paper bag — no plate, no ice cream (which the menu clearly says it includes).
• The server didn’t even know that brownie is served with ice cream!

My mom was really craving it. In the end, we left and bought her ice cream elsewhere.

3. Outdated Menu & Chaotic Service

The menu doesn’t reflect reality at all. Every time we ordered something, we were told:

“Oh, we don’t have that anymore.”

If you’ve removed items, remove them from the menu too.
Running out of BASIC orange juice in a big café at 2 pm?? That’s just poor planning.

Servers didn’t know what items came with. They were constantly confused. The entire experience felt disorganized and chaotic.

4. One Last Thing – The Food

The only reason we’ve kept coming back is the food quality, especially the sandwiches — which are genuinely good.
But it’s no longer worth it. The service, staff, and setup have fallen apart. It feels like the staff doesn’t want to be there, and it shows.

This place has so much potential but you are losing loyal customers fast. Please, do something before it’s too late

First time! The service needs improvements. Also the bathrooms seem need to be cleaned for hours I guess. I wasn't able to use one! The trash bin was overflowing, and there were tissues scattered on the ground. And no more toilet papers.

This place has taken a nose dive in the last few months due to apparent staffing issues.

There’s no guaranteed food service any more - you can show up for a reservation and the kitchen will randomly be closed. This has happened to me 3 times in the last two months. It ruins a well planned day. Will not be visiting again.

The food here is overpriced—an avocado toast costs $18 after tax! I ordered the BL burrito and the BBQ brisket sandwich. The burrito lacked flavor, and the brisket sandwich was overly salty.

I had purchased a significant amount of credit on the InKind app to use instead of paying with a credit card, and this restaurant is listed on InKind. However, when I tried to pay, they told me they don’t accept InKind payments in-store. If that's the case, they should remove themselves from the app.

It was also very difficult to flag down a server. Overall, this experience was disappointing, and we won’t be coming back.

I am leaving a low rating not because I dislike the place—it’s actually one of our regular spots—but because I hope the feedback is addressed.

During our recent visit on a weekday morning, we experienced an issue that felt unnecessarily frustrating. We requested to swap to a nearby booth of the same size (2 available), but it was marked as ‘reserved.’ Despite our entire stay, no one showed up to claim that 2 tables. When we inquired about swapping, our request was denied. We then asked how to reserve that specific booth in the future, only to be told it’s not possible. Instead, they explained that those tables are allocated at the discretion of staff to online reservations.

It’s disappointing to see decisions being made to favor customers who don’t show up, while loyal, in-person visitors are overlooked. I hope the management considers revising their policy to better balance the needs of all customers.

I visited this restaurant at noon, and there was no line outside. I waited outside for 5 minutes, but no one came to seat me. After a while, another group of customers arrived, and a staff member immediately came out to assist them and arrange their seating, completely ignoring me. I had to remind the staff that I was there first before they finally seated me. This kind of service is unacceptable. This will be my last visit to this restaurant, and I will not recommend it to my friends as I don’t want them to have the same unpleasant experience I did.
