While eating breakfast, we saw a large rat right in front of us. It was casually roaming around the trash area and eating leftovers, like it was completely comfortable there. We couldn’t stop thinking about how many more might be in the kitchen. I will never come back. Hygiene comes first, and this was an unacceptable experience.

was super excited to find an Australian café and felt like I got a little piece of Melbourne right here in SF last week. Even more excited to hear they have another location down here! The coffee was delicious, and as Australians, we take our brunch seriously — this place definitely delivers.

This cafe is a gem. I wish i had found this place earlier. Their menu has so many options and you would want to taste each one them. We tried their mocha, sourdough chicken and avocado sandwich, peanut butter smoothie and the chicken quinoa bowl. And i must say all of them blew us out especially their sourdough sandwich.

Great vibes and energy and the food was great. The bacon and egg croissant was perfect. Not a huge fan of the coffee though. Service was great
There was a dead cockroach in the dining room with staff running food past it.

The place is quite hyped locally but I can't say my experience was better than average. Starting with the pros, the patio seating and vibe outside (especially in fall season) is quite nice and service is generally attentive. However, the food is standard fare, mild/bland flavours, and overall unexciting. The pastries are worse and coffee (of the few times I have tried) is burnt and milk is flat after a minute of arriving at your table. Their salad bowls might fare better than other choices or some of the smaller portion sandwiches (anything else is a lot of bread and little of fun parts).

I absolutely LOVE this place! I come into town every so often for work, but when I do it’s a must stop. I’m usually not one to write reviews but I had to because of the service & coffee<3. This past week I got helped by Yami & Isaac and they were absolute angels. But I’ve also gotten really good service with Jonathan and Nic. Amazing!!!

Thanks so much for considering my feedback! I’ve ordered the same multiple times since and the toast and salmon serving size has improved/looks like the picture.

Ordered a brekkie board (granola & avo toast) on the app for delivery, with added smoked salmon for $6.50.
Photo in app shows a full slice of toast, but only received half. Misleading - but could have been OK except that I also only received half portion of smoked salmon! Despite smoked salmon add on on regular avo toast costing the same!

Worth the wait! I got the half avocado sandwich and half granola. My daughter got a breakfast burrito and my husband a turkey sandwich. Everything was excellent and service was fast but attentive.

A little noisy, but lovely decor and great food! Excellent place if you enjoy drinking tea or coffee (both hot and cold). If you prefer soda with your meal, this is not the place for you! The truffle mushroom grilled cheese is fabulous!

Basically, the whole place in a chaos. We had a reservation, but we still stood around for nearly 20 minutes just waiting to be seated. When they finally took us to our table, it wasn’t even cleared yet, so we had to wait another 20 mins while they tidied up.
And that was just the start. Ordering was slow and all over the place—like our cold brew took 30mins that our food actually arrived first. We kept trying to flag down servers who would say “sure” and then vanish. Even paying the bill turned into a whole extra waiting game we have to call the bill for 3 times before it finally arrives. And to top it off, they ran out of water glasses, so we had to remind them multiple times that we needed enough for everyone.
In short, all these little details just showed how totally uncoordinated everything was.

Too expensive and use QR code menus which aren’t accessible to older people and people (like me) who don’t have phones that work well.

I have no idea how this place is even still operating. We stood at the front door for over 15 minutes just to be acknowledged and added to the waitlist — and this was on a weekend morning when half the restaurant was completely empty. No greeting, no communication, just staff walking around pretending we didn’t exist.
When we were finally seated, we were given the tiniest table imaginable — for three people. We could barely fit our plates, let alone enjoy our meal. And even after all that waiting, we sat there with no water for another 20 minutes until the server finally noticed. It felt like we were invisible.
But the worst part?
You’re required to place your order AND pay — including tips — before they even start serving you. So essentially, you are tipping for service you haven’t received yet… and as it turns out, won’t receive at all.
