This place has taken a nose dive in the last few months due to apparent staffing issues.

There’s no guaranteed food service any more - you can show up for a reservation and the kitchen will randomly be closed. This has happened to me 3 times in the last two months. It ruins a well planned day. Will not be visiting again.

The food here is overpriced—an avocado toast costs $18 after tax! I ordered the BL burrito and the BBQ brisket sandwich. The burrito lacked flavor, and the brisket sandwich was overly salty.

I had purchased a significant amount of credit on the InKind app to use instead of paying with a credit card, and this restaurant is listed on InKind. However, when I tried to pay, they told me they don’t accept InKind payments in-store. If that's the case, they should remove themselves from the app.

It was also very difficult to flag down a server. Overall, this experience was disappointing, and we won’t be coming back.

I am leaving a low rating not because I dislike the place—it’s actually one of our regular spots—but because I hope the feedback is addressed.

During our recent visit on a weekday morning, we experienced an issue that felt unnecessarily frustrating. We requested to swap to a nearby booth of the same size (2 available), but it was marked as ‘reserved.’ Despite our entire stay, no one showed up to claim that 2 tables. When we inquired about swapping, our request was denied. We then asked how to reserve that specific booth in the future, only to be told it’s not possible. Instead, they explained that those tables are allocated at the discretion of staff to online reservations.

It’s disappointing to see decisions being made to favor customers who don’t show up, while loyal, in-person visitors are overlooked. I hope the management considers revising their policy to better balance the needs of all customers.

I visited this restaurant at noon, and there was no line outside. I waited outside for 5 minutes, but no one came to seat me. After a while, another group of customers arrived, and a staff member immediately came out to assist them and arrange their seating, completely ignoring me. I had to remind the staff that I was there first before they finally seated me. This kind of service is unacceptable. This will be my last visit to this restaurant, and I will not recommend it to my friends as I don’t want them to have the same unpleasant experience I did.

Very chill place to have branch, family and pets friendly. The food looks beautiful and fancy and tastes healthy. The Avocado smash toasted is good. I’ve been here twice and one thing I didn’t like is the long waiting time, we waited for like 30mins for food to be served.

It was so chaotic in here. Tried to get a relaxing coffee but it took ages and I had to ask for the cheque three times

The ambiance is wonderful, the restaurant is bright and cozy. Drinks are great, they have offer plant-based substitutions.

Some dishes can be modified to be vegan/friendly if you omit cheese in avocado toast or a salad, but nothing really substantial if you don’t eat meat. The Green Goddess salad that I had today had way too much dressing, even though another avocado dressing was on the side of the plate. The salad was spicy which came as a surprise to me. I don’t mind a little of kick, but dressing was overpowering. I was thinking to order a piece of bread but I could only order 2 pieces of bread for $7.50 with a small side of butter and jam…

Took out 1 star from Service section because they didn’t clean out table for a really long time, I had to watch and hunt them down to ask to clean, and then to ask for a check, and we spent there a good 2 hours or so, they were not paying attention to our section, I only saw them seating a couple of new tables and taking care of their orders but didn’t pay attention to us.

Pancakes that my friend ordered for her daughter looked scrumptious, I wish they offered at least one vegan pastry or dessert.

Two of us tried to get seated on a Saturday morning. Despite tables open on patio that were not reserved we were quoted 20 minutes. We noticed another party that arrived after us with no reservation were seated right away. Upon inquiry after 15 minutes, we were told our table was open and had been but had to wait the full 20 minutes because if we were seated early the waiters would get confused. In an effort to prevent waiter confusion we decided to leave and give our business to a local spot that values our patronage.

Would give 0 stars if I could.Drove a long way and visited twice and both times was turned back because they chose to shut hours before closing time and during peak rush hours on Sunday. No notification on the website. Pretty poor service

Service was excellent from the moment I walked in to the moment I left. Great staff and great food! Excellent all around!

Except for the inkind glitch but that had nothing to do with your restaurant

20 minute wait for a table, yet both outdoor and indoor seating was maybe at 50% capacity? We watched several other small parties get turned away with the same wait time. Ended up ordering to go and they were out of açaí bowls — seems like a core menu item to have available at 11am on a Saturday. Confusing and disappointing experience!
