I had high expectations based off the reviews here...Big mistake. The food was just ok. If you hungry and want Mexican food I guess it will do.. we ordered the carne asada .but theyreally need to improve on the meat selection.
This place just for emergency the food is not good at all
Neighborhood store run by father and son that has been around for decades. Incredible selection of beverages both alcohol and non-alcohol, as well as sandwiches and real, down-home Mexican food. Vast selection of hard liquor but some real finds in wines as well. You can find some items here that you just don't find elsewhere. I suspect that many of their neighbors have no idea what a gem this unassuming little place is. Across from the Post Office at Loyola Corners.
Great family owned business with great customer service and great food
JP liquors is price gouging toilet paper. This store is charging 16 dollars for a 6 pack of charmin ultra soft toilet paper... more than twice the usual price of 6.99.... go someplace else
Liquor store and deli that is also a taqueria! One stop for a variety of palates. Owner is very friendly, wants to please. I got a Chile verde super taco. It was excellent! Fresh ingredients, plenty too and a few tortilla chips so you can eat some of the toppings to make it easier to pick up and eat your soft shell taco. Little outdoor patio in the back to have your lunch.
Enjoyed my chicken taco, very tasty.
Awesome place. If you are ever in this part of town, you have to stop by this store.

Who would have thought that a Liquor store would have great Mexican food and it was good too
Very good customer service & good food
Only place left still makes poor boy sandwich a little pricey though
The Mexican food was great. The Liquor store seemed well stocked... over all the place needed a good cleaning but we will be back.
I'm working clothes, so I found this place randomly. I was craving pastrami sandwich but after walking in and smelling the Mexican food I decided to have a Super Burrito. 10 bucks. It was good, I hate to compare everything to Chipotle but this place was missing a little "extra" on the super burrito. For a cute little place, liquor store, on the side of the road. I'd say it was pretty damn good.
