One of our favorite bakeries up and down the peninsula! We’ve been coming here for over 10 years and now our kids love it too. Easy to grab a pastry and walk the downtown area, or head over to Shoup park.

Love this spot. Has very high quality pastries and cafe drinks. Very Asian influenced very different than the other European style bakeries. Very refreshing and delicious. Highly recommend giving a try! My favorite is Tokyo roll vanilla!

The chocolate-covered croissant and the latte were amazing. You can really taste the high-quality ingredients.
However, the service needs improvement. The woman who took my order wasn’t very welcoming, and the cashier was eating taco behind the counter while helping me, which felt unprofessional. The dish rack for dirty plates was also full.
The bakery has great products, but better customer service and cleanliness would really improve the overall experience.

My go-to bakery! Their cheesecake is my favorite since it has the right amount of sweet and tartness to it. I tried the cream puffs and they were divine.
No seating inside, all seating is outside.

I tried the croissant and the raspberry donut, and both were excellent in their own way. The croissant was flaky, buttery, and well laminated. You can tell it is made properly. Crisp on the outside, soft and airy inside, and not greasy. It had that light crunch when you bite into it, which is exactly what you want in a good croissant.
The raspberry donut was a pleasant surprise. Soft, fresh, and not overly sweet. The raspberry filling tasted real, slightly tart, and balanced the sugar well. It did not feel heavy or artificial like many filled donuts do. You could easily eat more than one without feeling overwhelmed.
Looking at the pastry case, everything is very well presented. From the savory items like spinach feta and leek parmesan pastries to the desserts and cakes, it is clear they put effort into both quality and appearance. This is the kind of place where you want to come back and slowly try different things each visit.
Service was smooth and efficient, and the space is clean and modern. It does get busy, which is always a good sign.
Overall, Satura Cakes lives up to its reputation.

The cake was delicious.
Be sure to double check they give you the right cake!! Ordered the matcha cheesecake and only noticed at home that I received the regular one 😭 (which i would never have ordered; came for matcha and they were out of matcha mont blanc and matcha puff) was super disappointed to not have what I came to buy and spend $11 on something I don’t like.
i also bought some other cakes for others- the earl gray (very light earl gray taste) and yuzu cake which were both good (soft and a slightly crunchy texture). The truffle basque cheese cake was interesting but no one was a huge fan of the taste. Service was ok, didn’t even give a bag to carry out(nearly dropped one of the boxes…) Overall a bit too pricey for a tiny slice of cake so most likely won’t be back.
