We’ve been here a few times in the last couple of months. We love the pizza (thin crust, crispy bottom, tender and airy dough) The buffalo wing flavors are all appealing. I have the cola + chipotle sauce a try and it was tasty. We shared the 14” pizza and wings between the 2 of us and had half the pizza reheated for dinner (on a pizza stone in the oven). The blue cheese dressing that accompanied the wings was so good.

Delicious pizzas, although, they are relatively small at 14" diameter. The state of mind slice house is the same store, but has an 18" option. The hamburger is ok though. Reminds you of the fact that this is a pizza place.

I absolutely love State of Mind. I don't know anyone that doesn't. The quality of their pizzas alone will impress you. This is the kind of place that will convert a "crust hater" into a "crust lover". I recommend the Heat and Sweet or their limited quantity Grandma's Pie. Also, try their "SOM dusted French fries, they're killer! Great selection of craft beers on tap. Relaxed, family friendly atmosphere with a mini arcade area for kids.

A fun pizzeria in downtown Los Altos! The food is perfect for kids AND parents. The kids like the pinball machines and arcade, it makes for a fun weekend night out as a family.

We were shown outdoor seating, but the heater's flame was turned on too low and it wasn't warm at all. So, when I told the clerk that the heater at our seat was turning on too low compared to others, he didn't do anything, saying that the heat was the same as the others. But I couldn't believe it because the heaters in the other seats were much warmer than ours. When I complained about this, they said they couldn't move my seat because the restaurant's policy does not allow food to be moved. It was absurd, so we called the manager, who said there was no such policy and moved us to another warm place. The two waiters at the restaurant's entrance lied to us and showed us that seat among many other seats even though they knew from the beginning that the heater was not working properly, and did not take appropriate action despite our valid complaints. It was a place where there were no lights on. If we hadn't called the manager to complain, we would have been shivering in the cold and eating cold food in the dark. The food was excellent, but the two clerks who guided us to our seats need service training, and the heater and lights will need to be fixed as soon as possible.
