Wonderful lunch spot. Friendly vibes and good food!

Got a 3-item lunch special bento with beef teriyaki, tonkatsu and assorted tempura. Nothing to complain about. The flavours were there and the portion was great.

The employees are super friendly and it looks like most people who come here are regulars. It was super cute seeing everyone acknowledging each other.

Food's not going to blow you away, but if you want a solid, safe lunch, this is the place to go!

I think it's good to be able to eat a lunch box for this price considering the location.
They also serve brown rice tea for free. I had the lunch bento box with a choice of 2 sides, $17.50. You can choose sushi rolls or nigiri sushi on the side, but there's plenty of white rice, so I personally recommend choosing a side dish. Personally, I'm concerned about the quality of the white rice. There's nothing wrong with vinegared rice, but that white rice is a no-no in Japanese food. The female staff member was very kind and managed the whole thing by herself. I think there was one craftsman who seemed to be Japanese.

"The staff at this restaurant are very rude and racist; they might tell you to get the hell out of here at any moment."

I was trying to go to this place for a week or two, when I finally did it I couldn't go any fatter than the front door because they were already close. On the website say that they closed at 8:30 pm. When I got there it was 7:45 pm, and then this guy came to us and said they close at 8:00 pm. Okay well but it is not 8:00 pm yet. All I saw was the guy working in the kitchen saying something to him as he was going by. I'm wondering if he actually ran out of food or he just didn't like my Afro style hair cut. However it's not the first time I have come to a Japanese place and I got a "sub-service" that has been said you know what to expect from Sushiko...

Similar to the feedback from others, portion sizes were extremely small in comparison with the pricing.

Good food, and nice people!

Reasonably priced, extensive menu, talented sushi chef, great service. This is my new favorite sushi spot.

Wheelchair accessibility: The entrance has a pull door. So, a person in a wheelchair did have difficulty opening the door independently, but there are windows that the staff could notice someone wanting to come inside. There is enough room for a person to get around the restaurant once inside.

It's decent quality sushi for a good price, and service is always good. You'll find better sushi elsewhere but it will cost 3x more. At this price point, this is the best in the area.

The sushi was fresh and really tasty! I ordered the Sushi Lovers Sushi Combo, and the portions were very generous! We also ordered Los Altos roll, and it was really good with a bit of spice!

2/28/2024Sushiko4546 El Camino RealSte A4Los Altos, CA 94022We went there for lunch on a Wed around noon. It's in the Village Court plaza at the corner of ECR and San Antonio Rd. The store front faces San Antonio Rd. with parking around the periphery of the shops. Not too many people when we got there and it starting filling up while we dined. Probably no need for reservations. It's a booth and table layout with a smallish sushi bar. They didn't have calamari. Wifey had the stir fried seafood udon and I had the lunch special Bento Box with Saba Shioyaki and mixed Tempura. My Miso soup was thick, flavorful and had some Wakame but no diced tofu, just okay. The udon had a good selection of seafood, including mussels and shrimp. My Saba was juicy and tasty, with some edible pin bones. The mixed tempura was hot and included two sweet shrimp with assorted vegetables having a crunchy and slightly greasy breading. The salad had a mayo dressing and just okay, no sesame or soy flavors. The menu is extensive with sushi, bento and udon selections. The service was good, even with just a single server. The lunch special bento box is a good value. Similar to several other places in the area, it's repeatable.

Dined in for a business purpose with clients.Definitely top notch quality chef and also top quality/fresh sushi.Atmosphere and lighting is just right for the sushi restaurant, yet what really shines is the way sushi and rolls are placed on dishes. If you are looking for a quality dine-in sushi restaurant, look no further.I definitely liked Unagi and Tuna. Salmon was top quality, too.
