We have eaten here many times over the last few years, and the food is ok. However, we attempted to patronize this local place right as they opened on a Monday, but were turned away because we were with our infant and a stroller. According to the policy, no strollers allowed. There were no other customers, and despite us offering suggestions on how we could minimally disrupt their space, the waiter/host was more intent on ensuring future customers had the most convenient access experience. Wouldn't recommend going for folks who have strollers, wheelchairs, walkers or any other 'equipment'.

The sushi was fresh and really tasty! I ordered the Sushi Lovers Sushi Combo, and the portions were very generous! We also ordered Los Altos roll, and it was really good with a bit of spice!

2/28/2024Sushiko4546 El Camino RealSte A4Los Altos, CA 94022We went there for lunch on a Wed around noon. It's in the Village Court plaza at the corner of ECR and San Antonio Rd. The store front faces San Antonio Rd. with parking around the periphery of the shops. Not too many people when we got there and it starting filling up while we dined. Probably no need for reservations. It's a booth and table layout with a smallish sushi bar. They didn't have calamari. Wifey had the stir fried seafood udon and I had the lunch special Bento Box with Saba Shioyaki and mixed Tempura. My Miso soup was thick, flavorful and had some Wakame but no diced tofu, just okay. The udon had a good selection of seafood, including mussels and shrimp. My Saba was juicy and tasty, with some edible pin bones. The mixed tempura was hot and included two sweet shrimp with assorted vegetables having a crunchy and slightly greasy breading. The salad had a mayo dressing and just okay, no sesame or soy flavors. The menu is extensive with sushi, bento and udon selections. The service was good, even with just a single server. The lunch special bento box is a good value. Similar to several other places in the area, it's repeatable.

Dined in for a business purpose with clients.Definitely top notch quality chef and also top quality/fresh sushi.Atmosphere and lighting is just right for the sushi restaurant, yet what really shines is the way sushi and rolls are placed on dishes. If you are looking for a quality dine-in sushi restaurant, look no further.I definitely liked Unagi and Tuna. Salmon was top quality, too.

At opening we had one waiter who seated people, provided menu, took orders and brought drinks. There were a few guests filling the tables but he seemed to juggle well. The food took a bit longer but it was worth the wait. We ordered two bentos: calamari, mix tempura, tonkatsu, bulgogi and tuna sashimi. We also ordered 3 rolls: spider, dragon amd poke roll. Our favorites were spider roll, poke roll, calamari and mix tempura. Service was nice, food was tasty.

Love this neighborhood gem! Have been coming here for many years. Friendly service. I love the salmon skin roll - only place besides Morimoto's that does it right - crisp/crunchy without that fishy taste! A favorite during lunch for many in the area. Also love their bento offering, spicy tuna roll is great too!

Idk why the request average for this place is under 4 stars. Amazing service, great fish, and a cozy family friendly ambiance. Slightly expensive but really worth it. We like ordering the Tune lover and dragon rolls. Just the right portions to fill you!

Sushiko is deserves nothing less than a five-star review. The ambiance was a harmonious blend of contemporary design and traditional Japanese aesthetics, creating a comfortable and inviting atmosphere. The menu offered a selection of sushi and sashimi. I couldn't resist starting with the Ikura Nigiri, a delightful burst of briny flavors that danced on my taste buds. The delicate pearls of salmon roe were perfectly complemented by the tender, slightly sweet rice. The Tuna and Salmon Sashimi were impeccably fresh, with a melt-in-your-mouth quality that's the hallmark of exceptional sashimi. The vibrant colors and clean, pure flavors of the sashimi left me in awe of the chef's dedication to quality and precision.Sushiko is the place to be. I can't wait to return for another exceptional meal and explore more of their delectable offerings.Kid-friendliness: They have kids menu

If you are looking for affordable sushi that doesn't break the bank this place does a pretty good job. I usually don't eat sushi often and when I do I like to go to higher end sushi places for omakase style. But sometimes a good old sushi roll or nigiri dinner set just does the job. Sushiko has become a staple and my go-to for such occasions. My favorites are Mr. Sushiko and Orange blossom. Besides sushi I also would recommend their assorted tempura!
