Despite ongoing renovations, our experience was outstanding. The restaurant closes at 1:30 after lunch. We arrived at 1 and were served quickly. The food was hot and very good. I would return and recommend this restaurant to anyone.

This is the BEST restaurant in Palo Alto- hands down. Who would think that a Courtyard would have a gem like the Long Bar?!? The house wine is amazing. The rich and LONG happy hour pizza and chips and the amazing full menu.

The Beef Tenderloin is ALWAYS the best cut of meat in California! Make this a destination for your next Happy Hour, Anniversary, or just a great 😌 place for great food!

Wheelchair accessibility: Excellent access!

It's good for meals and service.

However, I fell like I've been scammed when I saw the extra charge, called "gratuity", which took me 20% for my meals and it is not informed in advanced.

Not to mention the checking machine asks me to give tip in the end.

That's why I can only give three stars because of the bad integrity.

Easy chill place to eat dinner. They have one section that looks slightly more upscale with tables, and they have another section with a bar and bar top seating. Lots of food options, and a few options of spirits and drinks.
If your in a pinch and need dinner, I would recommend coming here. Their desserts were a steal at $5 and the chocolate tiramisu was rich and satisfying.
The Fry's in particular where fried to perfection.

The atmosphere of the place (see pictures) carries more than it ought to a hotel bistro off El Camino. I ordered the French Onion soup with a side of asparagus and my partner got a bistro burger with a salad. The salad has a mint sauce that is good but there wasn't enough of it. They ended up stealing some of the extra hollandaise from my asparagus plate. The soup was great. Nothing too fancy but sometimes that's all you need. It works well for what they're going for I think. The worst of it is their servicing. They use a clunky app which doesn't even have all of their menu items and we had to pay in two separate ways. A server at the counter told us he'd take our order at one of the tables and then was never seen again. Just staff your restaurant or put it all on the app. Don't go halfsies.

Open late relativity in this part of town, not bad to grab a class of wine. They also have a fireplace as well.

Went to the Super Bowl watch party where they offered free pizza slices, popcorn and draft beer discount. You can park in the underground parking garage. The bar and bar lounge area is pretty cool. The staff were all very nice and the food and wine that we had was delicious! We had chips and guacamole. You get a lot of guacamole. We tried their fish & chips which came with coleslaw. The fish was crispy, crunchy and not oily, the chips were tasty and the coleslaw really good. The Prisoner Cabernet was very good.

Bustling and busy, they serve very homestyle food here, reasonably priced. It is an older crowd that is the mainstay but that means that it's just a good time, not rowdy.FOOD I LIKED:- Angel Hair Pasta (my fave)- Pot Pie- Steak Frites- Beef Tenderloin MedallionsFOODS THAT WERE ON THE LINE:- Mealoaf: I liked the mash potatoes but the meatloaf was overcooked- Maltby's Chili: Reminded me of Wendy's, not hearty & pricey- Chicken Wings: $$, unsure if worth itFOOD I DIDN'T LIKE:- Poki bowl: Did not seem like it was made with sushi grade salmon, didn't feel good after eating it- Soups: Expensive & just ok- Pork chop: Most expensive and sadly over cookedCalamari: Small squid & greasy==========================PRO:- FREE Appetizers of pizza & homemade chips (addictive)- Menu is wide and vast, there is something for everyone and it's a generous portion.- If you're staying at the hotel, you can charge it to the room. Better yet, make sure that if you are a loyalty customer of Marriott (Bonvoy) so that you are earning points on your meal.CON:- Parking, though free is usually underground- Can get busy here- Older crowd (65+)SUMMARY:I LOVE that it's run by a family - you can see and taste the care and love they have in their food but sometimes it's a hit or miss, depending on what you get. I'll be trying to update as I try more dishes here.
