Food is mediocre. Owner is defensive and surly if you make any complaint or ask questions. Avoid
Great drinks (they were NOT watered down), great food (arinchini, pizza, empanada) and music
Pulled pork sandwich was good. Krinkle Fries, not a favorite and weren't crispy enogh.
Nice restaurant, eclectic menu, but good food. Outdoor seating and parking available. Nice place to eat.
A pleasant surprise that there was Bingo ongoing while we there. Everyone participated. Food was ok. Margarita was good and the sunset drink was refreshing. Chicken quesadillas had a lot of meat and when hot sauce was added was tasty. Philly cheesesteak had lot of meat but not much of green peppers or cheese so was just ok. . Salmon soup was great with lots of salmon and hearty. Greens were also liked. Service was polite and fast.
Great spot for school meet-up with parents and kids. Just had a high school gathering at The Post with about 20 people—everything was set up on time and run smoothly, the staff was super attentive. It wasn’t quiet enough for easy conversation with a group this size. Definitely recommend!

Bottle of Veuve Clicquot for $52 over happy hour. Sign me up! The fish and chips were fantastic, so were the Salmon and chicken wings.

Yeah!!! The original Post is back!!!! By far the best burgers. They are perfectly seasoned and cooked to order (medium for me). OMG the tater tots and Brussel Sprouts are to die for. They also brought back the weekend breakfast croissant sandwich. They brought back all of their original menu that made this one of the best restaurants on the peninsula.
Dietary restrictions: I’m allergic to onions. They were very careful and considerate of this.
Parking: Very easy in the back. Have a back door for easy access.

Only real complaint was that it closed earlier that I had expected.

Still remembering how good was the original restaurant, and remembering the horrible experience we had three years ago with a new "chef", we decided to give it another try. Bad decision, the food is nothing else than the poorest quality Mexican food served at a Michelin star price. It is a shame that Los Altos cannot do better than that on Main street.
Large group, they handled it well.

I don't have any complaints about the food that I ate at the post, it was edible. The reverse is also true, there was absolutely nothing about the food that was praiseworthy. I had chicken and waffles, but I also sampled from the meals of my associates. It was one of the most decidedly mediocre meals I have had at a brunch restaurant.

I recently dined at The Post in Los Altos, CA, and had a pleasant experience overall. The restaurant has a cozy and modern atmosphere that feels welcoming. The staff was friendly and attentive, making sure we had everything we needed.
The menu offers a good variety of dishes. I tried the roasted beet salad, which was fresh and flavorful. For my main course, I had the grilled salmon, which was well-cooked and accompanied by a nice selection of vegetables.
Overall, The Post is a solid choice for dining in Los Altos. While it may not be extraordinary, it provides good food, friendly service, and a pleasant environment. I would recommend it for a nice evening out or weekend brunch.
