It's challenging in California to find a pizza that reminds me of NYC, here they make a delicious pie with "color"! NO BLONDE CALIFORNIA PIZZA!!! The grilled octopus appetizer was delightful, tasty good size on top of arugula...WELL DONE.Tiramisu is delicious. They also have a very nice, albeit small wine selection. We'll be back!!

We had made a reservation for 4 but only tables for 2 were available when we arrived. They had made an error in seating guests and thought we were a party of 2. They hastily pushed 2 tables together for us next to another group and in the middle of the room. We were later able to move. We recommend confirming your reservation by phone. The food - spaghetti a la bolognese and the Camarillo were superb. On a prior visit, the seafood risotto and pesto spaghetti were also very good. The minestrone soup was a disappointment- watery and with a few vegetables. All in all, the best Italian food in the area and service was great.

Tre Monti is the best Italian food we have found in the greater Palo Alto/Mountain View/Los Altos area; certainly the best in Los Altos. Portions are great; pizzas and pastas are simply excellent. Will be back often and will recommend to friends.

We had two of the specials ( seafood risotto and chicken pasta ) and they were excellent. Our wait staff indicated that all pastas are made in the restaurant and they were top notch. Bread was served with our salad and was the perfect start to the meal. We ordered a Classico Chianti that was delicious and went well with our dishes. The wait staff was friendly and helpful, couldn't be better. The wines seemed a little overpriced with maybe a couple reds < $65 which belied the $$ (out of 5) rating, but all in all, a great experience. We'll definitely be back!

This restaurant is a total hidden gem— the food is outstanding, homemade pastas and bread, the owner sets a lovely tone for a delicious and relaxing dining experience in a small restaurant setting. I am surprised they are not overrun with diners all of the time, but as I said, still a hidden gem!

First, I will say a restaurant's bread sets the tone for a meal. The bread served was stale and uninspired. We ordered a plate of burrata, which was nice enough. The Pinot Grigio was lovey and dry as we prefer. I ordered a Tre Monti salad. While the ingredients were fine the dressing was olive oil that lacked any flavor. My daughter ordered a ribeye steak that had to be dissected due to the large amount of fat. My Pappardelle alla Boscaiola and daughter-in-law's Spaghetti con Vongole were very nice. We both enjoyed them very much. My son had the special that I believe was an Ancona di Pepe with clams, shrimp and octopus. The pasta had an unpleasant, overly fishy taste, but the seafood was nice. For dessert, we had the crème brûlée, which was minute in depth and the sugar layer was burnt. Also the cheesecake lacked the yum effect. We won't be going back.

A group of 8 enjoyed a grand lunch on a sunny day outside at Tre Monti, and the staff could not have been more accommodating. A first time for several, and a reprise for others, everything was excellent, especially the artichoke appetizer, burrata and prosciutto, the Margherita pizza and the pasta dishes. The pear salad with sautéed prawns was excellent. The Etna Rosso on the wine list is an excellent value and a good choice for a midday repast. Giovanni, the owner, makes dining there a joy.

Enjoyed the vegetarian panini. The best I have ever had. Freshly toasted flat bread and perfectly grilled veggies. Mildly spiced so you get to enjoy the true flavors. The bread they serve is really fresh, warm and so airy. And super attentive service! Will be back for

Had a fantastic lunch at Tre Monti in Los Altos. Nice outdoor seating. Lunch was great. Salmon Panini and Pasta Bolognese in the photos. Service was outstanding. A little on the pricey side but reflected in the food quality.

Best service I've had in a long time, with visits to the table from management and chef. Homemade bread, cooked in their outdoor oven, was delicious. Everyone raved about their meal. Location in the heart of a cute downtown area. Will definitely go back!

The food was good. We enjoyed the tre monto salad - quite delicious. And the burrata was good. Good pizza and really good gnocchi. The service left me wondering if the staff was in a rush to leave for somewhere. The restaurant was not completely full and there weren't any guests waiting but the staff kept stopping by to remove the dishes from our table. The question was always, can I take this away even when there was stuff on the plates.

Nice Main St location. No gluten free menu nor understanding of gf vs dairy free. But they had GF pasta so that was great! It would be so much easier and accurate if they added GF to the menu! The Fregola my husband had was delicious. Tartufo was yummy too.
