Really enjoyed Urfa. They have some seating options (front and back patios and inside) - they were flexible to our choice. Food was very tasty. Service was great - everyone was super friendly and helpful. We will be back!

Great food (linguine dish was excellent) and very attentive staff. A quiet room was ideal for us so a perfect setting on the back patio. A great night!

Food was just ok. Spanakopita was mostly filo, not much filling. Lentil soup just ok, as was the lamb shank dinner. Service was very slow.

This place never disappoints. If you want great food and a pleasant, relaxing environment - look no further. Everything on the menu is so fresh and delicious. xo

Great good, excellent service! We sat on the back patio, not loud at all. I really have a great meal every time I come here. Good wines, salads are the best, beef kabob, the daily fish entree, all spectacular

The service and atmosphere are both very good but unfortunately the food really lacks character. The $33 mains taste similar to cafeteria food, lacking spices, herbs and creativity. The stuffed zucchini dish was watery and simple. Price plays a big role for expectations for me and I wouldn't complain if the mains were around the $13-15 range for this quality.

Tzatziki was great, the special haloumi and beet salad was exceptional. I'm a big fan of beets and not at all a fan of goat cheese so you can imagine finding an edible beet salad is rare! Shrimp, branzino entrees also really good. Love that Testarossa Pinot noir - a no-brainer selection off the wine menu for me.

Some nitpicks: bread was mid, would have preferred some pita or something more interesting than the white bread we got. Also the caramel chocolate dessert didn't really match the quality of the rest of the meal which was okay but for $14 you gotta bring it a little harder than that. I did appreciate the candied orange rind on the dessert - a rare treat.

Overall I'm excited to go back

We went there for lunch yesterday and ordered 3 beyti kebabs, all of them were burnt! We told the waiter about our food is burnt and they acknowledged and didn’t even say sorry!!
We are not going back.. We used to be the regulars.

Good hosts and they us up well for a business meeting or meal for 8 people. Everything went well and the hosts were very understanding.

Great menu. Wonderful wait staff. Always a positive experience. Our favorite Los Altos restaurant.

We've eaten at Urfa many many times and this was the worst experience we've had. The serving of hummus as the hors d'oeuvre was totally too small and when we asked for extra hummus, he charged us ridiculous. The lamb was overcooked, and the soup that I had was not good. It was very disappointing and we will probably not return.

Valentines Day dinner on the enclosed back patio. The service was exceptional, especially for a very busy night. The ambiance was fine given that I reserved fairly late and got a table on the back patio instead of the main dining room. The patio is very nice in cold weather, warm enough and protected from the wind. It is also pretty quiet. The food was great as always. We were not rushed. Altogether a great experience on a night that can be a nightmare for restaurant owners and workers.

I love Urfa. The staff are so friendly and welcoming and the food is always fresh and delicious. I like to take my 80-year-old parents and the staff are always so attentive & helpful to them. It's a hidden gem in downtown Los Altos.
