On the 18 floor in the Indigo hotel at downtown LA, went there when there's a salsa dance night, $10 cover drink not included, a cocktail start from $18. Average night, the room was small and crowded(due to the event) with big window and good view of the city. The area feels safe considering it's in DTLA.
Loved the ambient feeling of this place. Hung out at the bar with a friend. Still had a nice semi-secluded seat with an alright view. Had a "Beez Neez" which was a nice strong and fancy gin and juice. Had the truffle fries with it because the one drink was kicking in so I had to balance it. Will definitely be back again.
Well, not a bad effort nor a bad experience, per se. Arrived at 10:30pm on a Friday night and it was dead....stayed until 11:15 and then left to go back to my room. There were perhaps two dozen people when I left (if I'm being generous). BUT, the DJ was good and she was spinning really good hip hop. Bottle of Corona was $10. Guy at the door admitted that Saturday's tend to be better.
