I stopped into 27th Street Bakery while passing through town to my climbing gym. I have a habit of stopping anytime I see "Bakery" painted on a building.....and I'm sure glad I did. The baker gifted me a sweet potato pie that was phenomenal. Not overly sweet and the crust was flaky and light. Perfect fuel for climbing. 🫶🏻
My Dad is from Louisiana and the owner said his father’s recipe is from Louisiana . My Dad said this was one of the best sweet potato pies he has ever had . I give these pies +10!
I ordered a pecan pie for my best friend's birthday and it was amazing. It's his favorite dessert and he said it was the best one he ever had. Thank you for helping me make his day special!
