I went here expecting a fun night but I got overcharged for drinks that I didn't even order. I tried to contact the manager but could not get ahold of him. Tried to leave a voicemail but they do not accept them on their business phone. This was the worst experience in my life. The bartenders weren't even friendly. I hope a manager sees this and talks with me to resolve this issue because this is not okay.

The valet guy with the mustache was insanely rude and just waved me off. Zero professionalism

This place has definitely changed in a year. It used to have people inside, not anymore.

The atmosphere is giving funeral after party, the music is still good, food still good. But the service has gone to hell in gasoline drawers long ago.

You have to know the days to come when the bartenders are really bartending. If it were not for the 2 BOH gentleman who are doing all they can to ensure this place stays operational so they have a gig. We probably wouldn't return.

Lastly the fees that are being added to the Tabs are RIDICULOUS. We've been charged for a large group fee, for 2 people; Fees for entry, Security (when there is none), etc.
So Beware and check your receipt.

My recent visit to 3rd Base LA was disappointing to say the least. From the moment we arrived, the service set a negative tone. Our waitress greeted us with an attitude that made it seem like we were inconveniencing her just by showing up.

After finishing our meals, we sat for quite a while waiting to ask for the check. When she finally brought over the handheld payment device, I noticed something troubling — our bill was already pulled up, and just before presenting it for me to tap my card, she casually said, “Oh yeah, tip is already included with your bill.” I then saw that she had pre-selected the highest gratuity percentage before handing it to me.

This felt dishonest and pushy. While tipping is customary and I usually tip well for decent service, it should never be manipulated or assumed—especially not for poor service. It left us feeling taken advantage of and eager to leave.

Overall, this experience left a bad taste in my mouth, and I wouldn’t recommend 3rd Base LA to anyone. If you're looking for genuine hospitality and transparency, I suggest taking your business elsewhere.

Upon my arrival, I was told at the door that my reservation was canceled and that I now have to pay $100 per person minimum in order to have a seat/table. This was not advertised online or during my reservation process.
The service was extremely slow, the music was too loud on a poor sound system, and the internet connection prevented guests from viewing the show that everyone paid to see uninterrupted.
Overall poor experience and not worth going to again.

$25 cover plus a required $300 food / drink bill. It was not worth it. Plus a $15 parking. The only thing good about this place was the music.

Such a vibe! This spot was super chill with great music that set the perfect tone. I used the InKind app and got $20 off a $60 tab—such a steal! We came as a group of four around 3 PM, and the weather couldn’t have been better. The windows and doors were wide open, letting in the most refreshing breeze.

Parking was easy—there’s both street parking and a lot with security, plus other great food spots nearby if you're looking to explore.

Now let’s talk about food—absolutely delicious! Every bite was so good, I seriously wanted to go back the very next day.

And the Patrón flight? A total win. Four individual mixed drinks with different flavors to choose from—definitely worth it.

10/10 recommend for a chill hangout with amazing food, great drinks, and unbeatable vibes. Don’t sleep on this spot!

I came in just wanting a beer, but apparently that was too much to ask. Sat there for about 15 minutes while staff completely ignored me. The waitress finally acknowledged me, but with an attitude like I was bothering her. Super welcoming. If you enjoy feeling invisible and unwelcome, this place is perfect.

Angel and Francisco were great! Happy hour prices are not bad; the nachos were substantive and tasty (ask for extra chips). Turned on the NBA game sound we asked for (thanks Angel) and left it on (thanks Francisco). Vibe was low key (it was a Wednesday afternoon. The 3rd base IPA is not as fruity as the description would lead you to believe (that’s a good thing).

It's a great sports bar with a fun vibe. TV audio on for big events. Great crowd which is always fun. Feel like I always make a new friend when I come to 3rd base.

My friend took me here for a celebration event. The food came late, wasn’t particularly good and when I visited the bathroom, my stall was disgusting. I felt bad for my friend

The quality of the food and drinks were okay considering the happy hour pricing. However, after reviewing my receipt from last night I’m noticing so many hidden fees that weren’t disclosed and tacked onto my bill without my knowledge.

We were automatically charged a 3% service charge and an 18% large party auto gratuity even though we were only a party of 3. I wasn’t aware of these fees when I asked to close out my tab and so I added an extra tip when I paid. Had I known I was already paying 21% in service fees, I wouldn’t have added any more to the tip. I feel like I should have had an opportunity to see my itemized bill before I was asked to pay because our total for food and drinks before tax was $65. However my final bill rang in at $99 because of all the extra fees that were added on.

If it was really amazing food and service then I could justify the cost, but I feel like you could get way more value for your money at another bar or restaurant in the area. I also don’t think it’s right we were charged as a large party when there was only 3 of us. Overall, I wouldn’t recommend coming here.

I really enjoyed everything up until the bill came. I went and sat at the bar myself. When I asked for the check, I had an upcharge for large party of 4 or more lol. There was also some other random % charge on top of the drinks. Typically if my car tab is 60 I'd leave 25, but I was told this is the policy there so that was that, 18% upcharge for the large group of 4 or more which was just me...solo.

As an owner of multiple businesses, these kinds of things should be made public. Terrible policy and the reason I'd never go back. Look at my posting history, I don't rant and rave about stuff and rarely leave negative comments.
