We've eaten here a couple of times and it is always fantastic! The entire staff is very welcoming and attentive. Chef Christian comes out after your meal and thanks you for coming and wants to know if you enjoyed your meal and visit. The environment is very comfortable and homey yet sophisticated and classy. The food is absolutely delicious and they can excellently recommend and type of wine to match your tastes and meal. Reservations are highly recommended, as the place is small. Prices are very reasonable, given the food quality and experience, but they can reach upwards of $250 for two people with drinks, appetizer and dessert but this place is worth it.

Simply exceptional.
Exquisitely paired ingredients, cooked and prepared with love.
We hosted an event here recently, and I cannot praise the restaurant and staff more highly! The attention to our guests to make them feel special and welcome was top notch, and the food was delicious and well-portioned. Whether you're looking for a space to host and event, or just a fantastic meal in a beautiful setting, this is the spot.

The food is simply excellent. We had bone marrow, foie gras, steak frites, confit de canard, beef bourguignon. Everything was great. We don't like to order everything immediately and feel rushed. The staff was very happy to take our order for starters, then later for the mains.
My wife and I enjoyed a wonderful evening at the restaurant. It’s cuisine is truly French; the chef and his wife own the restaurant. The food was very tasty; I had black rice with cod (a special of the day) and my wife had their salmon. We also had their Basque Cheese Cake for dessert and it was delicious. The Chef, Christian, came by our table and chatted with us after our meal and was very friendly, as was his wife, who was the maitre d’. Highly recommend “A Food Affair”.

The owners and the staff are wonderful! The food is delicious!!! I got the lamb shank, it was Perfect! My sisters got the filet mignon and they said it was cooked perfectly! The mushrooms starter was spectacular as was the bone marrow and their bread basket with butter. One tip, GET THE SKILLET COOKIE!!! PHENOMENAL!!! The chocolate mousse was amazing too! Amazing for birthday dinner!!! Go! You won't regret it!!

It's like being in the French countryside, especially with Babette and her husband, the chef greeting us all personally. Love the chicken and brussels sprouts, love the truffle fries extra crispy. We will be back.
their whole snapper special of the night was divine. Cooked expertly. Highly recommend dining here for dinner
My husband and I had dinner here on a Thursday evening and were blown away by the food, service and the vibe. Our only regret is not coming here sooner!
To start, we had the duck terrine special, which was divine. The fresh pomegranate seeds and cherry jam were a perfect complement and really made the dish. I’ve been thinking about it for days! The avocado & beet salad was delicious as well.
For our mains we had the hanger steak special which came with a blue cheese sauce. It was incredible. That sauce…ugh! SO good. Also had the bœuf bourguignon which did NOT disappoint- insanely tender and rich. Perfection.
We polished it all off with the crème brûlée which was terribly delicious.
On top of such a tasty and memorable meal, the proprietor was friendly, warm and accommodating. The chef even came out to say hello! We really enjoyed our time at A Food Affair and will certainly be back. :)

Food Affair is a really good French restaurant. My husband ordered a classic French dish tuna tartare and beef bergione. I ordrrrd the organic salad with goat cheese and organic chicken with Brussels sprouts and artichokes. We ordered chocolate mousse for dessert. We were just at Food Affair weeks ago. It is now on our list if favorite restaurants. Service is excellent! Not noisy!
