I think it's a Spanish restaurant.A large plate for pintxos. The popular focaccia looks like bread. If you're expecting the delicate taste you'd find in Spain, you'll be disappointed.Everything felt great. The staff and interior were wonderful.

Food and wine selection at AOC is very good. The service is what stood out most. I dined here Monday night and the hostess was very kind. Michael our waiter really made our night. He had great menu and drink recommendations and his positive attitude was so infectious it really made our night. He really set the standard for amazing service. We will be back asap to see him!

Beautiful restaurant with really good food! My husband and I came here with our dear friend who is a local and highly recommended the food here. Given that it's a tapas place, we ordered a big portion of the menu. Every item we got was excellent and really thoughtfully crafted. We especially loved the mushroom focaccia. As good as the food was, my favorite part of the restaurant was the atmosphere. The building is absolutely beautiful on the inside and outside. It's a very nice dim and intimate setting. The staff was top notch as well, making sure we were taken care of.

Thank you AOC! The server and manager were very accommodating of my dietary restrictions as I recover from a gum surgery. They went above and beyond to offer suggestions and answer each of my questions about the menu. I definitely recommend AOC for a wine night with amazing tapas. Ambiance is pretty, my friends and I loved it.

I threw myself a party for an important birthday. We were going to have it on my patio, but because rain was forecast I chose AOC. There were 11 of us, and we sat in the wine room off to one side, so it felt private and elegant. I chose a set menu--the staff, who were excellent, bring multiples of their small plates, and the food was copious We were stuffed after the cheese, the characuterie board, the various vegetables and salads, the Spanish fried chicken, the fish tagine, the hanger steak, two desserts, and more. The waiter, Lee, told us if we wanted extra of anything (as if!) we had only to ask. The service was lovely--attentive, professional, and cordial. I complimented Lee after and thanked him for helping make my day extra special. I won't say the food was cheap, but given the quantity and quality it was to my mind a good deal. I highly recommend them for parties (and also for regular dinners--I've always loved their food).

We enjoyed a nice dinner during our visit to LA. The focaccia was delicious and had a perfect crust. I ordered the fried chicken and it was so tender and juicy. The portion sizes are smaller and meant for sharing. We ended up being quite full after our meal. The food was very good, but didn’t blow us away. All very simple and fresh, so can’t complain! The restaurant itself is very nice and great for a nice dinner.

There was a special Easter Brunch Menu. We enjoyed a dungeness crab omelette & french toast. Each was well prepared and a delicate balance of flavors. The staff was supportive & attentive without being intrusive. It was a delightful experience.

It was the perfect Easter brunch with my family and friends. Tried different cocktails this time and the Green Goddess remains my favorite. Farmers plate was a nice treat. Entrees were tasty and satisfying! Very appreciative of the perfect booth we were sat at?? overall a wonderful experience. We'll be back again

Wonderful food and ambiance. An unusual menu that combines flavors of many inspirations. Google Maps describes it as "Californian" and I suppose I agree. It's family-style. We got 4 dishes to share for the two of us (a bit much), and they were all very good.

My friend, who hadn't ever been there, and I shared a salad and the tagine, one of my favorite dishes at AOC. Everything was delicious. We got sat near the fireplace, which was lovely. AOC is one of my very favorite restaurants and I'll surely be there again.

This is one of my all-time favorite places in Los Angeles. It's solid 100% of the time. The outside patio is beautiful and I like being near the fireplace in the winter but my favorite place to sit is at the bar. Love the bartenders. They make a mean drink! Zuni's chicken is perfection. I love the cauliflower, but I order it extra well done. Everything is high-quality and tasteful. My friend is obsessed with the bacon wrapped dates. We dying there at least once a week if not more. The bread and butter, Marcona almonds, and olives are always on the menu for us. I look forward to their seasonal vegetable dishes. Murillo and Frank are friendly and always make us feel like we are at home. I've never had a subpar experience at this gem of a restaurant!
