One of a kind restaurant. Staff is super nice and food is really good. All mixed with the atmosphere of a 50's restaurant. High recommended.
Classic diner experience. One of the oldest restaurants in LA but yet the most hidden.

Prices harking back before covid; good American diner food. Chief Beck Burger is the gourmet version. Many LAPD personnel come to eat breakfast or lunch. WARNING: Come way before 1:30pm closing.

This place was great! I brought my wife and my autistic son, who's all about supporting the police, and we can't believe we never knew about it sooner. The service was excellent, the food was unbelievable, and we even got to meet a couple of officers. All around, it was a fantastic experience.

I’ve had 3 meals here my co-workers each had 3 and all of the food here is delicious. Hats of to the chef who really cares about his food.
This place is Fantastic. The main guy who runs the restaurant Richard Masi knows his menu. The best is his Clam Chowder This place is number one in my opinion.

Great food at incredibly prices. Find this hidden gem. I had the “sleeps with the fishes tuna melt”, lots of cute crime references on the menu and memorabilia on the walls. Many healthy options for a diner. Quality ingredients and prompt courteous service.
Always dependable, always tasty... Thanks for being there thruout my

Completely gross unless you like eating food that is precooked and frozen. This is not a cafe nothing is cooked from scratch everything is like eating a tv dinner. Should of never got rid of the crew from the old days the cafe will never be the same. Outrageous price for a frozen meal
Impeccably kept retro style diner within the LA Police Academy. Open weekday mornings through lunch service. Cool setup with 3 U-shaped counters, design evocative of police uniforms, and tons of interesting photos on the walls. The food was among the best executed diners in LA, a city rife with diners, so that says a lot. Menu items have fun names and low prices as well. Adjacent hallways have interesting sports display cases and a gift shop.

This is a gem of a diner. It’s also an LAPD museum! The food is excellent and the prices are reasonable. Service is always great as well.
