Aizen (in Bizen Restaurant)

Arrived at this place at 9pm yesterday, Sunday night. Older Asian server told me he couldn't seat a party of 9. But when my better half talked to a younger server who could communicate better, we were seated. The older server took our orders but did not read back what items we had ordered. He was taking my order and looking at his watch the whole time which was very disconcerting and really annoying. He told us it was the "last call" 3 times. There were 2 items that we didn't order that was taken to our table, but we took them anyway as some members of our party were really hungry. We had asked for 2 separate checks but he put all of the items on one check anyway. Took us a while to sort the orders out. No apology from this person. Food was good but service was below par. Will have to be really hungry and desperate to return to this place as there are so many other places with better food and better service. They need to train their staff better. I have worked and trained in higher-level restaurants and this place is certainly lacking.

Broth is subtle yet deep flavor. Slightly weaker and more natural flavor than a typical udon broth we know. Appetizers are cute and small-portions. Coming back for sure to try other menu.

One of my go to spot and a place i recommend to my friends / family every time we visit the Little Tokyo area ❤️ food is incredibly good ? ? and service was on point ? ?

Really awesome udon and drinks! Highly recommend. Staff was great as well :) Very kind and attentive.

Extremely good udon. Highly recommend you check Aizen out before everyone finds out about it.

And Soma our server was funny, attentive, and welcoming. He explained the menu to my husband and I in a very friendly manner.
10/10 I recommend the lunch specials they are worth your money you get a salad, a sushi wrap, hot it cold udon and to top it off a dessert for $25.

food was amazing! the tan tan noodle is a true masterpiece i would definitely recommend to my friends! the customer service was very good and i felt very welcome eating in that place. would totally come back again!

I’m sure this place will get a ton of customers very soon. I got the combo ofc, but really wanted to try other dishes especially the egg thing. Highly recommended for legit udon and other authentic Japanese flavors.

Really good place. Our server was really good at his job and funny!! The food was also really good and we had a great night.

The best little NEW udon noodle place in LA. Clean new shop design themed in handsome blue indigo. Menu is noodles galore with exotics. The full range from simple to super deluxe. Nice service staff. Clean satisfying and wholesome dishes. You cannot choose wrong here. Adding shots of their unique decor.
Note: the flavoring is Kansai or Western Japan style. Lighter on the soy sauce and more flavorful of the fish broths. Delicate and smooth. Gotta go again and soon!

Foods and service were perfect. Server named "soma" was so kind and wonderful. Because of him we made our good dinner even more better.

I came to this place early February and was given a flyer with a special Valentines day menu.
On Feb 2nd i called and made a reservation.
Tonight we showed up and … no signs of my name, no awareness of how disappointing this really is. We get told that the menu was reservation only…. Yeah no kidding ! What a frustrating and humiliating experience, i had been telling my partner for days and the disapointment was so huge i couldnt handle it.

Super delicious food, wow, I am a fan of rice and here in this place I have eaten delicious rice, the restaurant has a great decoration, the place is super clean and the girls who serve are a love of people, super friendly, polite and with treatment Specially, I recommend this site.

Healthy and very delicious food.
