Quick stop here for a coffee after lunch. The cashier was nice and explained what a chagaccino was so I ended up ordering that one, and it tasted decent! There were lots of empty tables when I went but the music was so loud that we opted to sit outside instead. The barista area was also quite loud. Parking can also be difficult. Other than that, it's a cool spot to grab a coffee in the area!

Fine coffee but DO NOT ORDER TO GO. They have horrific to-go cups. Every time I order an Americano, they fill it to the brim and the terrible cup leaks at the seam under the lid, burning my hand and staining my clothes. No one needs this on their way to work. I have shared comments, a month later tried again, still leaking

I don’t know how these trendy coffee shops get populated end up in nice areas, but their food is the worst. I probably had one of the worst breakfast burritos ever. I ordered a cheese, eggs and potatoes and honestly ask me why the potatoes were cold never ever again overpriced. I paid almost $15 for a burrito Insane stay away be warned.

was greeted when i walked in ! the team was nice and offered suggestions since it was my first time. the music was a vibe, i believe afro beats lol. my drink was small but good. i’ll go back for sure . parking was a struggle but i was in and out so my meter didn’t expire

I’ve been a regular since the pre grand opening. I love how quick, convenient, and tasty Alfred’s is. The staff is very friendly and efficient. Honestly I’m quite surprised by some of the reviews I’ve read. For the past week The Manager Joseph makes sure I have everything I need, has me do a taste test, and even recommends drinks and treats I should try. This week I’ve been hooked up I’ve been hooked on the Lavender Ice coffee and the cinnamon croissant. It’s so unfair when people allow their personal situations to affect their interactions with others. Keep up the great work Alfred team! You’ve got a loyal customer within me!

Fair warning: all reviews warning of the rude staff and manager, Joseph, are absolutely true.
I placed an order for pick up for 3:41pm. When I arrive the workers are clueless about my order. The manager, Jospeh, comes over and asks how I placed my order.
I explained through the website and Joesph rudely and obnoxiously states they do not accept orders through the website, only through app. I kindly explained I did not download an app and I ordered through the website. Joseph began to become visibly frustrated and rudely interrupted stating Alfred’s does not have a website.
I did not have my phone on me and was unable to view my order, and explained this to the staff. Joseph became quiet and I had to ask him twice what should I do in this situation. Joseph suggested I go get my phone, look at my order, and verify I ordered at the correct address. Completely unapologetic.
So after walking back to my office on my lunch, grabbing my phone, then walking back, I show Joseph my order to verify and he quietly reads my screen and is COMPLETELY UNAPOLOGETIC. After being rudely accused of not ordering through the website, and after being humiliated in front of other customers, Joseph does not even have the common courtesy to apologize for his appalling demeanor and inconvenience he’s caused.
After viewing my order, I also showed Joseph the Alfred’s website and explained this is where I placed my order, not on an app. Joseph became quiet and did not utter a word. He then proceeded to make my coffee, and sarcastically asked what type of milk I chose. Just complete disrespect and utter embarrassment. All in front of other paying customers.

I’m super big on customer service ! This location has great customer service the entire staff are so chill and kind and generous . Let’s get into the food my go too are Vanilla latte w/almond milk, strawberry matcha w/almond milk, strawberry lemonade they’re all delicious and never miss . Now good bacon and egg burrito you gotta get the crema sauce and hot sauce it’s soooo good, most recently I’ve been getting the matcha croissant it’s fireee highly recommended. I also love that this location has a spacious sitting / eating area it’s so cute so happy there’s finally a Alfred in DTLA :)
