Got a 12oz and a 16oz iced matchaga. But they made both 12oz and corrected one with just more ice and milk
They were very busy so understandable but one just tasted diluted

I waited a long time and then was given the wrong order. This was unbeknownst to me until after I left the store. Initially, I didn’t know where to order until another customer came in. More importantly, the staff was rather aloof. I was not greeted when I came in to the store. Just a very sad experience. Plus some fellow was using a loud leaf blower in front that was very off-putting. You lost a customer. Sad.

Over the past year, I've purchased coffee at this location at least 50 to 75 times, so I think that I have a good sense of the overall quality of the location.
First, and without fail, the coffee has been excellent.
Second, the baristas, including Jamie (manager), Jacquie, Faith, Justin, and Tyler, are always pleasant and efficient.
Finally, the shop is easy to access with street level and basement level parking.
In my opinion, the experience at Alfred - Sawtelle is terrific. I know that I'm going to get a great cup of coffee and receive excellent customer service. That seems like just the ticket to me

Unique outdoor’ish atmosphere nestled in Sawtelle’s pocket of fantastic eateries and quaint shops.

Besides coffee (duh), they actually have a nice selection of breakfast burritos and bagels.

I ordered an oat latte + a bag of coffee beans on Uber eats yesterday and they forgot the bag of coffee. I madd the same order today since I still needed a bag of coffee, and again, I only received the latte. I would have never ordered a latte only for delivery if I didn’t need the coffee bag, and now I’ve been paying expensive delivery and service fees + tips for only a small latte two days in a row because they keep forgetting the bag. Coffee is good tho lol but this is frustrating
